The Cryptolambo had gone to the moon... Time for Cryptolambo 2!!!

So some.... painful eye candy.

On opening the box packaging it has become apparent it has been damaged in transit. My suspicions were high when the inner box tape was already cut and open. I think the most likely scenario is customs have done an inspection and dropped it. Despite what looks like quite bad damage, the tailpipe should hammer back to round quite easily, and the flange with some heat should come back to flush as well.

The other option is to send it back to repair/replacement but then id be waiting another 3 months. Fortunately I have already obtained permission to get litchos to try the repair.

Anyway, damage side, feast your eyes on this lunatic of an exhaust :)

Always hate getting large car parts shipped for this reason.

Yea, further investigations seem to confirm that its been damaged by customs. It was shipped out heavily and tightly wrapped in large clear bubblewrap, it turned up in loose, small blue bubblewrap as the photos, so it has been opened and re-packaged by someone.

It's a shame but it should be fixable.

but I'm sure Litchfield will be able to sort that pretty quickly.

Yea, scott is fantastic with his fabrication so this should be an easy job.

Ah man. Nothing worse than the excitement of opening up a package for it to be broken/damaged.

Can’t wait to hear it when sorted!

Out of interest, where was it shipped from?

Get on to the *****. They should not get away with damaging your goods, especially something as awesome as this, and you should not be out of pocket due to their negligence.

Repair - if it is possible to repair the article(s) and it is reasonable and economical to do so, you should only reimburse the cost of the repair.

Replacement - when repair is not possible, reasonable or economical you should reimburse the cost of an equivalent or similar replacement(s). Normally this will be new for old.

Should have over-nighted it. Would have added more BHP, obvs :D

I just recently ordered some parts from Japan. Took 5 days to get from Tokyo to Dartford. Not bad.

It then took Parcelforce 10 days to get it from Dartford to my house, 20 minutes away. Delivery driver granny shifting, not double clutching like he should :/

I’m surprised Parcel Farce managed only 10 days…. :D

looks epic, I’m sure it’ll wake the dead. :D

Tarmac has been on fire for past couple of weeks, Pzero are just meh. :D

Pzeros are shockingly poor tyres unless the conditions are absolutely perfect and they have next to no wear on them.

Looks ace, but I guess the tarmac temp will also be having an effect on traction?

One would hope everyone knows this. You can’t beat that first warm day after the winter where the tyres properly grip the road having walked on tiptoes all winter.
