The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Why did the dog not jump in the water if she fell in?
I’m one of the videos showing the area that is posted a few pages back, you can see the embankment is quite steep and the edge is high compared to the water level.

A dog could jump in but it ain't getting back out. The dog potentially thought it was too high to jump in.

My Mum is really annoyed that the police/dog walkers didn't ask the dog where Nicola went. The dog is a witness and when you ask a Dog what happened to 'Name of Owner', it shows you where the owner went. Whenever I ask my Spaniel where a family member went it shows me. It walks to and stares at the location the family member went as long as it's within a couple of hours or so.

I think you're underestimating the dogs physical ability and over estimating it's fear of danger. I've had 3 spaniels in my time, 1 jumped off a cliff and broke it's leg, 1 wanted to jump out of the second floor of a house and had to be strongly discouraged from doing so. Many jump into steep embankments and pull themselves out. I've had to yank Spaniels out of canals they're jumped into too and another that could get in and out of a canal. The dog is not thinking about safety when going into a body of water, especially a young Spaniel like this one.

Perhaps Spaniels have a fear of you :D

This thread shows how ridiculous this case has become. No-one has anything. Not a scrap of evidence or a clue what happened. All that's left is speculation and mockery.

The dog has a better lead than the police.

Sorry.
Talking of leads, they found the harness but what about the lead was that found?

The thing is, people may mock, but it must have happened at least once in human history. This may not be it, but it could have been. It's not impossible.

OMG can you imagine @BowdonUK's reaction if the Police's main theory was based on the dog looking at something

"We believe she's somehow made it down this rabbit hole. I know it sounds silly, but the dog was adamant..."

Paul said that when he arrived at the scene the dog's harness was halfway down the embankment. This could indicate she was nearer to the water than the bench.

Paul is sometimes doing little headshakes when he's describing the events that took place the morning she went missing. Maybe he's describing things that didn't happen?

That's what the body language guy off of Faking it would say.

They've not interviewed the dog yet.
