The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Unsure if there's been a discussion about it already but if she did fall in the river why was her phone near the bench? That's an odd one.

Shannon Matthews, Ian Huntley. The police know what they're doing, they are experienced in such matters. Give the bf enough rope....

Seriously. You guys. If anyone had enough television exposure they would eventually say something which meant they had "slipped up".

It's impossible for the partner to have done it, stop trolling.
no we're not trolling. let's see, maybe he got someone else to do something...if you're saying it's impossible for him to have done it. :D we were just giving our views as he on tv at the time.:D

Was it a conference call? In which case she could have had the phone on the bench on speaker.
Where is big brother when we need him?

I thought 'they' could listen to the microphone even if its muted these days?

I know this is about computers, but I bet its the same for phones too;

Most logical idea is fell into water heavy clothes cold shock and possible head injury would have the body submerged and tidal river flow takes her out to sea.
The abduction idea is within a 20 minute ish window. To boof her over the head. I guess she would weigh 70 to 80 kilos. That has to be carried to a transport point. Add in the dog not following etc and remaining riverside.
And no one seeing anyone with a large bag, a carpet or a body over their shoulder.
Also it was said she repeated this routine many many times which would mean only someone local would know she walks the dogs at this time. Would work out others walking dogs. Would realise their is 20 ish minute window. And after considerable study and stalking boom go for it.
Not entirely impossible but hmmmmmm. You are still talking about subduing an adult of 70 to 80 kilos and carting them away.
The third idea is some fraud or financial scam or life insurance that has been pre arranged and the timing and the spot has been well planned and put together over some time and carefully planned.
That's some fat ass woman.

To suggest she was 70 - 80kg is just idiotic, that would put her firming in the morbidly obese category.

She was between 48 - 56kg at best. She was petite, slim and athletic. Most men could easily pick her up, my ex was 53kg (5ft 4") and was as far as I was concerned light as a feather.

My missus is 5ft8 and 58KG. So easy to pick up. It is all these movies people watching thinking women can throw a grown man of around 90-100KG across a room.

I've seen in jiu jitsu where some 5ft 2" 45kg girl tries to throw a 6ft 2" 110kg man, they struggle to even shift your body weight slightly, let alone fling you anywhere. On the odd occasion i've had to spar with a lady, the help I offer just to shift me slightly, I'll go on my tip toes and move my CoG intentionally so they can at least try throw me. Most women really have no idea just how strong an average man is compaired to them, a moderatly athletic man is just leaps and bounds stronger than them. No doubt that statement will annoy a few people, but thems the facts.

I don't buy the abduction at all. There is no way a criminal would attempt an abduction in a field full of dog walkers. The chances of being seen were just too great.

I'm not sure whether she could have fallen in the river or not. It does seem very strange that no one saw or can find a body. Having said that, such things have certainly happened before, without the body ever being found - it just seems unlikely.

The Sherlock homes in me tends to favour that this was staged. What better place to disappear? The one problem with this is that we (the public) don't know in which direction she was travelling when she was last seen and where everyone else was located. That information may preclude an escape to the nearby estate road.

Peter Sutcliffe (The Yorkshire Ripper) attacked 2 women in roundhay park, one of the biggest parks in Europe, full of dog walkers
