The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

I really do wish some people would be able to provide a coherent answer as to what would be achieved from treating a section of a riverside like this? A open to the air section of riverside with a river flowing through it?

What exactly do these people imagine would be preserved that would lead to a breakthrough in the case?

Just a few pointers crime scenes/ tents/ white suite etc are usually used to preserve things like

fingerprints, blood splatter patterns, fibre transfers etc
Yes thought the same. How long was it when the police were alerted? there may have been a number of people walking all over the potential scene straight afterwards.

Not that I'm arguing here, but do you have an actual source for that?

If the police have changed the investigation from a missing person case, to an actual criminal investigation, it implies that something new has come to light.
You'd be better listening to the section the twitter video was taken from, as a senior ex police officer who's worked on high profile cases like the soham murders was talking and giving his opinion.

These 2 fisherman tip off hasn't been followed up for many days until now.

They haven't tried to get any forensic evidence. The ex officer today said they should have removed the bench to test it. They should have put crime scene tents up to preserve evidence then they can look for footprints. They didn't start requesting cctv camera footage from people until many days after. By now that footage might have gone.

The chances of people still having footage from over 2 weeks earlier is nearly zero. They should have been asking for this stuff as soon as they were alerted to the disappearance.

Ah ok, so the police haven't actually changed it into an official criminal investigation then? They're still treating it as a missing person case.

The whole "leave your husband and run away" thing, just doesn't make sense. I mean - she'll have bank accounts, credit cards, various bills and monthly commitments any person needs in modern life.

If she'd run away - she'd need access to those things, the police will have checked all of her accounts for usage.

That is assuming she didnt run off with someone else who was rich/paying for everything.

She'd most likely have been spotted leaving the area, or subsequently.

I mean it's not impossible, it just seems so unlikely that she's run off in this way, especially when there's no evidence.

If you was planning to leave your husband the last thing you would do is take the dog for a walk. Same with the mobile phone you would just leave it on the kitchen table and leave.

Yeah I don't for a second think she's just run off.
Wasn't she a mortgage advisor or something? Not like she's some idiot.

Probably one of those Chinese weather balloons, beamed her up and then went to warp 9, probably somewhere near Kronos or Vulcan by now ?.............................

Oh I agree it seems unlikely (simply because just up and leaving your young children would be odd). It would also likely be difficult to not be recognised in this country after all the news coverage she has had.

But it's still a possibility.
