The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Not really, given that that's what the original dig was about. Seemingly you're all offended on behalf of Chris.

I think it would soon reduce the forum to anarchy and ridicule if everyone were free to make up quotes from others, so, despite many disagreeing with some of my less popular opinions I can see why some members might be offended on my behalf, and quite justifiably, but without also supporting my views on "asylum seekers" et cetera.

I think the bigger point is why bring them up in this conversation?
No need for it and just shows you are ready to point the blame at a completely different issue and selection of individuals, without justification.

Also, I dont really want you to answer the question as dont want this to go off topic and in to a topic ruined by casual racism, again.

However, the running away theory seems odd considering she had young children. She must have really hated her life to just abandon them like that.

I know 3 women who have done it and moved to other parts of the country with their lovers.
My neighbour across from me had two young kids around 7 & 9 and she just buggered off and had zero contact with the kids, sadly the lad committed suicide when he was 16 but I don't know if it was because of it.
One of the other women who left her young kids in the early 80s with zero contact suddenly turned up in the 2000s running a pub in Stoke when for 2 decades she was living in the London area.
My wife kept looking at her saying 'I'm sure that's Maureen' and approached her, she denied it but then admitted it.
It doesn't seem normal that a woman could leave her small children but they do.

Its literally the definition of a strawman. However, to indulge you. If what you say is true then why do you feel the need to make things up? I'm not offended, you just got called out for being a forum douche and you don't like it.

It wasn't a million miles away from what you'd be thinking if it turns out she was abducted though, was it? I've already explained my rationale and I've edited my post.

Most people disappearing don't have the hallmarks of a crime or tragic accident. Lots of people want to get lost but disappearing mid Teams call on a river bank whilst walking your dog is unusual. I also have to assume mothers leaving their kids is also a big flag.

I've already explained what it was. I find it amusing that you all get upset on the behalf of people who aren't very nice characters.

Nice characters or not, its better to discuss what people actually post rather than going into the realms of fiction.

Oh noes, somebody made something up on a forum (and then edited it when the joke/dig didn't land). How will we all sleep tonight?

I noticed today the Lancashire police are now treating this as a crime rather than a missing persons case. I was listening to LBC earlier and Nick Ferrari was interviewing a senior ex police man saying another force should be brought in to take over this investigation. In short he thinks Lancs police have made a balls up of it.

This is Ferrari introducing the section but its not included the call.

@Tony Edwards made up a quote about me a few days ago. It seems some forum members now think its acceptable.

I really do wish some people would be able to provide a coherent answer as to what would be achieved from treating a section of a riverside like this? A open to the air section of riverside with a river flowing through it?

What exactly do these people imagine would be preserved that would lead to a breakthrough in the case?

Just a few pointers crime scenes/ tents/ white suite etc are usually used to preserve things like

fingerprints, blood splatter patterns, fibre transfers etc

Not that I'm arguing here, but do you have an actual source for that?

If the police have changed the investigation from a missing person case, to an actual criminal investigation, it implies that something new has come to light.

Don't make things up. It's that simple. All it does is undermine any points you may actually have and makes you look like a bit of a slime ball. Or as your put it, a not very nice character.

Ah yes, I'm the slimeball, CW is your idol.

I totally understand leaving the kids. But the dog? Have to be some sort of monster to do that!

Yes. You've acted in a disingenuous manner and attributed something to him that was never said in an attempt to belittle him.
Say what you like about him but he is always honest and forthright. The same clearly cannot be said for yourself.

I think its obvious it's because she's an attractive typical woman. Not sure why this very specific one. But it's likely just one of those events enough time had passed since maddie to get the clicks.

Especially as many people can relate. Walking your dog, in a quiet area. It hits home. No one really blinks of its an immigrant for example

Its gained further traction by not being solved. But it will quieten down now until new evidence appears.
She also ticks boxes that align with the Tory press, just like the Maddie McCann disappearance.

I've already explained what it was, I've edited the post. How many times have people acknowledged what they did and edited posts? Should he start court proceedings for slander?
