The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Haven't read the thread, so don't know if this has already been brought up, so.......................

Latest theories on BookFace: husband and wife's sister did her in. Sister has already moved in, "to look after the children".

Apparently wife and husband have been having an affair and they killed Nicola at another location. The sister wore Nicola's clothes and hat for the dog walk, which is why no body has been found in that area - it wasn't Nicola! Dun dun dun!!

Sounds like the plot to a good movie :)

What's funny is that this is significantly more plausible than most of the other suggestions being thrown around

Fortunately for the police, most murderers aren’t criminal masterminds.

Doesn't even look like gaslighting. More like blackmail that he will fraudulently edit quotes to make him appear in a worse light.

It's one thing to not like what someone posts but that is beyond the pale imo.

Blackmail  **** me, are you able to tie your own shoe laces?

Typical GD response, put the xenophobes on a pedestal but moan about the people who call them out.

  • Someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK
  • 170,000 people are reported missing every year
  • There are 353,000 reported missing incidents every year
How many people go missing each year?

  • Missing people: of the 170,000 people reported missing nearly 98,000 are adults and more than 70,000 are children
  • Missing incidents: of the 353,000 reported incidents, more than 137,000 incidents are adults and almost 215,000 incidents are children
  • Looked after children are at high risk of being reported missing. 1 in 10 looked after children are reported missing compared to 1 in 200 children. Looked after children who are reported missing will be reported on average 6 times

Given the stats above, why is this disappearance being given such high priority and attention?

You think CW doesn't have an issue with immigrants and woke brigade?

Whether he does or does not isn't the issue. You deliberately made a post to look like he said something that he didn't.

The issue is now about you doubling down and trying to use @Chris Wilson's dubious opinions as a defence for your actions...

*Awaits laughing/like/love reaction to this post from @sigma  *

Yummy mummy from an affluent middle class area under unusual circumstances which would generate substantial media interest and therefore revenue.

The reality is give it a month and no one will care about it anymore unless there's a significant piece of news to renew the media frenzy.

Without wanting to take the thread off topic I can say in my defence this very morning's news do give some strong justification for my issue.....

And I don't even have to make up the article.

It's already happening, the story doesn't appear on the BBC News front page any more

I noticed today the Lancashire police are now treating this as a crime rather than a missing persons case. I was listening to LBC earlier and Nick Ferrari was interviewing a senior ex police man saying another force should be brought in to take over this investigation. In short he thinks Lancs police have made a balls up of it.

This is Ferrari introducing the section but its not included the call.

@Tony Edwards made up a quote about me a few days ago. It seems some forum members now think its acceptable.

No, but why this one?

I think its obvious it's because she's an attractive typical woman. Not sure why this very specific one. But it's likely just one of those events enough time had passed since maddie to get the clicks.

Especially as many people can relate. Walking your dog, in a quiet area. It hits home. No one really blinks of its an immigrant for example

Its gained further traction by not being solved. But it will quieten down now until new evidence appears.
