The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

What I don't understand is how the husband can be "100% convinced" about anything in relation to her whereabouts, never mind the fact she definitely isn't in the river. Assuming he's telling the truth when he says this, doesn't that mean that he knows something we (and the police) don't?

Maybe I'm reading too much into the semantics of it but it does seem a very strange thing to say when the police are working on her having gone into the river as their most likely scenario. Had he said he felt it was unlikely or he had a bad feeling she had been abducted or something, fair enough. To say he is 100% convinced the police are wrong about the river theory though? Very strange and makes me think he does know more than he's letting on.

I think he arranged to have her kidnapped. You can see it from how shifty he looks went he speaks on the TV. Also those photos of their happy life on social media? They only show what they wanted people to see. They didn't see the real story about the dreadful animosity going on behind the scenes, how she frequently undercooked the tuna casserole [on purpose] or gave herself more Linda McCartney sausages at dinnertime.

So she goes out for her normal dog walk, normal route, standard morning fare, and he arranges Ken the Buttery to pick her up. While no-one's looking he bundles her in his mate's van, does her in and then dumps her in the woods. Job's a good 'un. All the while the police are looking in the river. HAhahahahahhah numpties.

Probably in the hope that they will expend vast resources chasing another avenue that turns up nothing. Makes for a catchy headline and keeps it in the news a bit longer.

p.s. Its always the husband. Most of the time...

Sounds very unlikely. I think you're projecting a bit too much here my friend. Can you tell us why you arranged the killing of your ex partner?

They haven't tried to get any forensic evidence. The ex officer today said they should have removed the bench to test it. They should have put crime scene tents up to preserve evidence then they can look for footprints.

Remove the bench to test it for what?

Footprints aren't of much use if you don't have something to compare them to. How are you going to prevent the elements from affecting any marks on what appears to be a considerable stretch of riverbank? Tents don't just levitate they need to be fixed to the ground and can't be too big or else a strong wind will take them away so where will these tents be pitched?

Why someone joins a computer shop forum to post in a missing woman case. Shirley there are lots of forums coming up with whacky ideas about Nicola's disappearance!
Haha, I didn't sign up specifically to talk about this. I've been a member longer than you but my old account (K-2) seems to have been deleted. Thanks for the welcome though. Sheesh.

Sounds like a challenge to see if anyone can remember a user "K-2" from before 2005, I'm unable to.

He could just be clinging to what the diving exert said, a hopeful soul.

Yes thought the same. How long was it when the police were alerted? there may have been a number of people walking all over the potential scene straight afterwards.

Well it will kick them in the backside if they do contain a suspect as they will have to prove them guilty surely . In murder cases this is done by low level forensics at the scene, did they try and scrape the area for DNA around where the phone was found? Footprints ? If it was wet someone must have been able to destinguish between a fresh footprint and one that had been there say 4-5 days ? Any clothing that may have got caught on something ?

If it is foul play and she is found somewhere and maybe the police have a weak lead on a suspect but want to strengthen it they are going to need that evidence , early evidence
