The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Yeah, seemingly the "vulnerabilites" were given to them by her partner, what do they mean? She had balance problems?
A 'yummy mummy' in Middle England? Most likely drugged up on anti depressents or something.

Understand why they gave out the ‘vulnerabilities’ snippet (to try shut down the wannabe Sherlocks) but of course all that’s gonna do is open up a whole new topic of wild speculation!

Could be epilepsy, had a fit and fell in. Could be anything but whatever it is the police clearly think it’s linked to what happened.

For the families sake I just hope they get some closure on this and it doesn’t end up as some Maddie esque media circus for months and years.

I think the media will lose interest in this soon - most of the stories in the last few days have really been scraping the barrel.

Maybe depressed because their company was going bust. All social media stops in December. She jumps in the river due to shame the day their company gets advertised in the Gazette for striking off.

I'm not buying this scenario though

Sounds like the police are suggesting suicide, which seems odd? Ie jumped in the river and got washed away?

Maybe she's tried self harm before

A suicidal person wouldn't be arranging play dates for their children the following day
They absolutely would.

A neighbour of mine arranged to travel to meet his daughter the following day, left his tools shoes andf clothes out for work the next morning and went out to the shed and killed himself.

Yeah, maybe it's suicide. And all the more weird for those close to her because nobody expected it or saw it coming. And that's the worst part, people who feel they can't talk to anyone about it. It just gets worse.

Memories of Gary Speed.

What is sad about this case is that it shows how some people are prolific posters on Facebook showing off their perfect lives, when the truth is far from it

this can also draw people into depression seeing what others have and are doing.

and yes far from the truth.

its a strange case for sure, if she was alive i think she may of popped up somewhere by now, very sad for the family.

In many cases social media exacerbates the problem. She may well be a victim of social media [in addition to her other problems], feeling that she has to show off her ideal life and keep up a front, while dying inside.

Dude, in just one example my Nephew had arranged stuff for him and his family for weeks and was preparing to go to a Port Vale match that day then decided to go upstairs and hang himself.
Depression and suicide can have you doing anything.

sad to hear that. its true though people hide a lot inside and come across normal but its eating them i for one know that too.

What do you mean? There is an inverse correlation between how much people use and post to social media and their happiness. Thats well known.

Do people genuinely think that all the couples on facebook posting "having the most wonderful romantic meal with bae" are actually having such a wonderful time that they just had to post it to social media. They do it because it makes them feel better in the short term and gets them some attention from the other idiots on there.

If you have such a perfect, amazing life, you wouldn't be posting every tiny aspect of it on social media because that would be the last thing on your mind to waste your time doing.

Arguably a suicidal person might do just that...make everything look like normal to avoid suspicion of a change in you, or that something is wrong. Or they might have had every intention of carrying on as normal and then suddenly something can trigger you. Could be one bad incident that sets you off. A road rage incident... a song... anything.

When you are at a point of wanting to end it all, I expect you are in a place where the emotions are so intense, that you can't, won't focus on anything else because it soon won't matter anyway. Pretty sad stuff.
The point is, I don't think you can try to judge anyone's potential behaviour if they are having suicidal thoughts. They would probably behave sporadically at best.
Think of some of the suicides of the past. Seemingly fine a lot of people, then suddenly they do it. Many a famous music artist has succumb to it rather unexpectedly.
