The Division. Are we interested?

For some it does but not for others, the issues don't seem to be affecting as many people as what batman AK did though.

In tombs and the very linear parts, performance is fine but anywhere slightly open, performance is awful, it fluctuates massively in the soviet and geo parts of the game.

On my pc even with everything on low/off @ 2560x1080 21.9, the FPS goes from sub 30's to around 50-60, I can understand that fluctuation with max/high settings but not low/off....

Division is much larger and way more open than tomb raider.... Remember, a lot of the stuff was cut of too so come final release and maybe even the next beta, we should have more area to explore. IIRC, with everything on max in the division, I was getting around 40 FPS in intensive areas with dips to 35 and when just walking around, it was hovering around 50FPS

I've just heard from a source from Ubisoft that the division gold edition will be the best value for money. Ubisoft will try to sell the season pass at a standalone price of £55. Which racks the total for buying them both to £110!

Gold edition is at £80, saving you them monies if you're interested in the season pass. Just FYI for you folk.

Lets hope grey key sites or VPN tricks allows us to get it for a decent bit cheaper ;) :D :p
 
I'm looking forward to the open beta... will be a true test when the masses descend on it and overload the servers/matchmaking.

Still wont be a pre-order from me though... definitely waiting on reviews and release. Though potentially might be a flash in the pan that no-one plays after a month... Fingers crossed it's not though.
 
I think it is safe to say we will get more time from it than what we did with hardline and star wars!!!! :p

Saying that, you guys should come back to star wars, the stuff that annoyed us has more or less been sorted out.
 
It could be gameworks effect that will get patched in later on i.e. like fallout 4 with flex etc. Funny considering gameworks effects are suppose to be so easy and quick to implement..... :D

It isn't too bad finding games for the popular modes i.e. walker assault but yeah the other game modes are more or less dead, either that, or the match making system is ****ed.

I'm waiting to see what prices will be like as well as DLC in terms of content and price.

I won't be paying more than £25 for the base game and I won't be paying more than £25 for all DLC content

DZ server pvp count is something I'm not entirely sure about either. I'm hoping more intricacies will be revealed. Towards the end of the beta I was with a random squad and all we were doing was killing the npc and then taking the best route in time to combat the next ones. Rinse and Repeat and it was an easy way to rack up XP and get random loot. Everyone else was more concerned about killing rogues.
