Quick question, can u have more than 1 character? I seem to remember someone saying that areas were seperated by level, me & my friends might not always be able to play at the same time, so might end up getting seperated if thats the case.
Iirc they said that you couldnt be in the same areas as level 7 & under if u were 8.
I do hope there are options for multiple characters. I'd much rather have my 'own' character and my kids that may want to play can create their own.
Had a quick look round and no one seems to be doing a decent price for the 'Gold Edition' which includes the DLC Season Pass content. Cheapest seems to be around £55-£60 which is almost double what the base game is going for. I think I'll wait and try and pick it up later.
The Division is throwing its doors wide open next week with an open beta that will let everyone explore its devastated New York, test its systems, and provide feedback that will benefit the game before its launch. Whether you’re a veteran of the closed beta or this is your first time stepping into an Agent’s shoes, you’ll be able to jump into the open beta from February 19-21 on PS4, PC and Xbox One. Also, Xbox One players can get started a day early with exclusive 24-hour early access beginning on February 18, but players on all platforms can preload the beta starting February 16.
The development team has resolved most of the PC cheating issues tracked during the closed beta, and all of them will be resolved by launch on March 8. The developers will continue to closely monitor the open beta for any new issues, and address them accordingly.
If this isn’t your first time playing The Division, there are extra incentives to come back, starting with a new story mission that wasn’t in the closed beta. Also, everyone who participates in the open beta gets access to a special in-game reward that will be unlocked when the full game is released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on March 8.

Cool
I liked the beta and am 50/50 regarding a purchase. I am similar to totalbiscuit though - the bullet sponge issue really grates me, especially headshots. Shooting the torso, limbs etc can kinda be rationalised by armour etc. However a headshot should end someone, simple as that.
Yes, I know it is first and foremost an RPG, but the main mechanic of that is as a cover based shooter. For that reason I kinda am disappointed that a clean headshot doesn't take down anyone!
1 shot headshot kills would simply not work in this game. I am glad it's not like that.

This. In a fantasy type RPG with swords and stuff, it's perfectly fine to swing a sword and hit a human character 10 times before they die, don't get how the game would work if it was realistic one headshot kills.
