Yep...they just had a bunch of streamers/YTers over to play the game and I believe they are going to be able to start releasing stuff on the 22nd in the run up to the public beta.

I've never played an Ubisoft game on the PC before since UPlay was released. Do I have to download UPlay or is redeeming and downloading the game through Steam all I need to do?

I think you'll need it installed. It's pretty lightweight and unobtrusive these days though.

Reading between the lines, seems like the PC version is the one to play. It surely can't look this bad on PC, get the impression it wont from the video and I'm sure will perform way better than the xb1 for obvious reasons. I'm interested, just need a need game to get into now.

Well, he did say this was running on the Xbox One so we don't know what the PC version looks like.

tempted to get a beta key, few things putting me off though enemies look like serious bullet sponges like never seen before

its an rpg at it's heart with levelled enemies, hence the reasons for the longer kill times - It's not a fps. Gear, weapons, loot all effect your ability to down enemies just like other RPG's of this nature.

and I bet they will all say it is brilliant. Only impressions video I trust are from Angry Joe, Total Biscuit and Worth a Buy. The rest of them are just so predictable that I don't even give them the benefit of doubt by clicking on their vids.

I know but I'd prefer a higher difficulty with harding hitting enemies but less spongy. I was watching a video he literally held fire button through 3 magazines into an enemy and they still didn't die. I have no idea on difficulty settings so that may well be included.

There is no doubt this game will be downgraded graphics & physics wise, it is guaranteed after pretty much all their previous games being the same i.e. far cry 3, watch dogs and I believe far cry 4 also looked better at e3 etc.

Game still looks very good overall though but still, I can't stand false advertising!

Don't watch your sell outs like xfactor and especially jackfrags + levelcapgaming, they are ruining the games industry. I've lost count of the amount of games they have hyped up and said all the usual crap "so much fun, this game is superb, highly recommend" and then come to everyone else getting it, it gets slated, it dies after a few months and the youtubers don't do any more videos on said game until their next pay packet/DLC.

The only youtuber game reviewers I follow now for opinions on new games are boogie2988, angryjoe and totalbiscuit
