The Division. Are we interested?

Given that you're trying to draw conclusions from comparing console and PC footage (that's nearly two years old), gotta wonder if you're being serious, I hope not!

Wait and see how the PC version looks with all the eye candy turned up...

I don't think anyone is disputing that the PC version will look better than consoles but.... will it look the same as the first e3 trailer?

Very few people have pre-ordered on this thread. Most seem to be waiting for the Beta to decide.

Looking at the gameplay I agree that the UI looks a mess. Far too much on screen for my liking. And as Nexus said, they'll likely be setup for 16:9 so will be far too close to the middle of the screen. I'd also like a 'Hardcore' option or realistic damage setting for you and for the enemies.

My point is not so much the 'graphics' but features that seem to be absent from the final game that were revealed in the early footage. For examaple, the wristwatch gadget thing. It looked cool but they have removed it which seems a shame. If you watch the new Doom reveal gameplay - off topic - you will see they have made an ingame inventory that when activated, the background gameplay blurs slightly and goes in slowmo, it looks cool but chances are they will remove it from the final game, or maybe they wont.

Back to TD, Im pretty sure I saw on reddit about a drone inventory item that flies to your enemies and temporarily blinds them with strobe lights, it was in some early footage.....its a neat feature but they removed it from the final game.

As for the graphics downgrade debate, the PC graphics options have been leaked:

Flashy 'wow' things aren't necessarily good from a UX point of view. The menu still launches from the wrist device but fills most of the screen as there's a *lot* of information to display.

They did? Perhaps I wont buy this one after all. It's a shame because I was getting quite excited by it.

No, they revoked some keys that were purchased with stolen credit card details and resold. Buyer beware, same as any other goods, don't want to end up losing out because you unknowingly bought stolen goods? Buy from a reputable retailer. In this case IIRC the retailers in question replaced the keys free of charge.

No, your wrong. Ubisoft claimed the vast majority of PC gamers were Pirates.

Ubisoft always mislead the public with fake gameplay, you can't defend that devious tactic. This doesn't mean all their games are bad.

Do you not work or have some kind of relationship with ubisoft

Correct, a fact i've never hidden when commenting on Ubisoft titles. I get paid to code, not PR. I just dont have a lot of time for the gamer-victim syndrome sufferers that act like they're being forced to pre-order games based on promo videos.

I am very interested in this game but I can't help but feel something (or things) will be wrong with it being that it's Ubisoft and they hate PC gamers.

I am in the beta though so hopefully I will be able to make up my mind in those 3 days.
