Yeah, the only footage released so far has been Xbox One. No NDA on the beta though. Good chance they will slip something out this weekend to keep the hype train rolling though.

Oh, like I said, you're in the normal category :) It's the tedious little boys and their "I cant wait for this game to flop" that will find fault either way. At least they'll whinge about it but secretly play the game to death. Will be fun hunting them down in the DZ ;)

Ubisoft sexism right there ^ - Seriously though I'm sure your personal PR campaign and handling of potential customers is something the company would be proud of :rolleyes:
 
Opinions are my own ;)

I'm no Ubisoft fanboy, they deserve all the stick the got for Watch Dogs and AC:Unity. But the people that want them to continue to fail? Yawn. I don't think anyone can look at recent releases (FC4/AC:S/R6:S) and say they aren't making things better....and that's what we all want really isn't it? Better games?

Some of the streamers/youtubers that were in Malmo the other week have hinted they will have more material released from NDA today. Beta is still next week.

Yer, I sure hope they leave the PC alone and if it needs 4xTitan Xs to run it with all the settings maxed, then so be it but I hope to hell they don't downgrade it to try and keep it more in-line with the consoles. With PC gaming overtaking the console gaming sales in 2015, it is about time we got some of the loving.

Ahh right - shame, don't have much on this weekend, whereas next weekend I'm pretty busy.

Least we might get to see the GFX on the PC today then, that would be good.

It has been stated for a long time, that The Division will be optimized for each platform separately and that it won´t be just a console-port for PC players. Of course that has been met with skepticism, but now we finally have a more detailed answer, how they will support and optimize the experience for PC players:

PC has a lot of configuration options
PC supports 2/3 monitors, so we have to support that
bigger rendering settings
unlock framerates
support multiple GPUs

I got burned by the Watch Dogs fiasco in addition to the rest of Ubisoft's copy/paste gameplay and bait/switch downgrade tactics so I'm extremely skeptical. That being said, I like the idea of the game. I never played Destiny but loved Borderlands and it looks like a similar style of game.

I'll try out the beta and let others take the day one plunge before I commit I think.
