well ive hit the 30 hour mark and even tho u can only do one mission and a few bits and bobs i really like it, its going to be a long 5 week wait for me.

IMO the problem with the rogue system is that the people going rogue have a massive advantage meaning that really, everyone should just go rogue all the time.
Well if they have the jump on you then I say it's fair enough. I can't stand the waiting around waiting for someone to shoot though, because 9 times out of 10 I will make like Han and shoot first only to have about 5 - 6 other people try and take me on purely based on being a rouge.
I think they will need some kind of "foul play" system. Say you have a habit of killing people for their loot then you should have a negative score, which means if someone shoots you first then they don't automatically become a rouge. You could kill other rouges in order to reduce the score and bring you closer to being normal to balance it out.

Liking the beta so far only played a few hours but enough to get an impression. The mix of FPS and MMO style suits me, even the cover mechanic works well. I do agree some of the default controls are on odd keys and I've not quite sussed the grenades, think I should be tapping not holding and getting the radial menu!

This might sound stupid, but I've not really ventured into the DZ a great deal yet. Is it worth venturing in there with a two man team? I can imagine we'd just get dicked on by 4 man squads, but I don't know if it's worth my time going in there.
Can they only loot the things you've picked up in the DZ and not extracted? How many extraction points are there? Whats stopping groups of people camping the extraction zone and just taking all the loot?

Ohh, so is there a bonus for destroying rogue agents?
We got jumped yesterday during our first venture out into the DZ, neither of us saw them on our maps, is there a way to figure out where people are?

Yep you get loads of DZ credits for killing rogues, best way to gear up. Pretty sure when release comes round and people are trying to get their DZ rank up instead of just messing about on a throwaway account, the dynamics of the DZ are going to change a fair bit.

Yup, it helps a lot especially if you want to go into the dark zone. It's possible to do well yourself, but you need to play it perfectly and very cautiously.
Solo is going to be tough in the dark zone. You might manage to loot some decent stuff, but getting it out through an extraction point is going to require generosity from other players. You'll be easy meat at an extraction point when a squad turns up to extract their loot and discovers you there on your own.
Hmm, it seems like they blocked an awful lot out, that could be cause for concern.

i had a great time playing the beta over the weekend but i am really worried about the amount of content this game will have when it comes out.

Yeah - I think the safest way to do it would be to wait until there are multiple squads at the extraction zone - that way no one will know whether you're on your own, or part of one of the other squads, and chances are, if 1 squad went rogue, the other would turn on them.

PVE you'll be fine if you want help you can use matchmaking on the missions to get a full squad.
PVP you run no more risk than a full squad for getting randomly shot, People will shoot at you no matter if your on your own or with a full squad.
