*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

So thoughts on todays announcements?

I think the whole thing is amazing, so cool but the only concern I have is on our current builds going into 1.4.

For example, we currently play with a capped SC and pulse and blast through heroic content like its normal, but will that still be the same in 1.4 initially?

Main reason I say initially is that obviously our current gear set items wont be modified for 1.4 so we wont have perf mod slots (not major if min maxxed and optimised) but we wont have all three main stats (FA/Stam/Electronics) to be in effect, even if two of those will be minor.

Reddit chat seems to think current optimised gear, min maxxed etc will be suitable to gain the gear for 1.4 (perf mod slots etc) on the hardest difficulties which I think is reasonable but time will tell.

All in all, I am happy, the game is moving in the right direction and it wont take long for us to gear up! :) Cant wait

i only watched part of the stream last night but what i did see i was happy with.

bit confused about the need to re-roll the mods though? liking the specific performance mod slots on gear.

Started with lvl 131 and got a supply drop. All purple gear and looks like everyone is the same. UG lvl1 and not much else in the way of funds for mods etc. I will leave this for now and have a proper play when the game is out of Beta but liking what I am seeing.

For someone that quit a week after launch and didn't get to level cap, Has this game changed a lot for the better?

Is it worth coming back too and giving it another go?

If you're not lvl 30 get back on it for patch 1,4 due next month which is supposed to fix a tonne of issues.

While we wait for 1.4 to arrive I've been leveling alts to 30. Something that's struck me is, I'd like crafting materials to be shared across characters as they're largely redundant on the other characters. And this is also the case with blueprints; having all materials and blueprints on the one character seems the only way to go?

Should I not collect any materials, not deconstruct anything, not buy blueprints on alts? What if I want to make another char my main? Doesn't seem to be too harmful to have all chars share blueprints and materials - I've done the work, I've put the time in...

Totally agree - doesnt make sense when PC creds shared/stash etc but not mats etc.

This game has gone from bad to worse

it has, and is now good again with 1.4 coming.

Much more balance, better TTK, more activities and it will also make the next DLC better due to the core of the game being improved.

Try out the PTS if you have PC and had the game installed at some point, lots of salty people are now saying it is much better and lots of people are coming back.
