I dont feel bored yet but then Im not farming like mad for anything. I have done about 20 lexi runs overall, but not that many in quick succession and am just going through each of the activities and if something better drops, happy days, if it doesnt, ah welllol
My builds arent min maxxed but they are all 55% armour with good stats and I am able to replace 1 bit every day which is good.
For named pieces, I havent had many but im not bothered, they arent the be all and end all of gear.
Its no wonder people are getting bored though, farming the same **** over and over again, and also the same easy **** over and over without challenging themselves.
I would rather work on efficiently and quickly doing incursions, survival PVE, UG with directives and also...survival PVP which I havent completed yet!!
I tried the survival on the PTS and seemed good but I can imagine it getting boring after a few attempts?
This is exactly why since 1.4 I've been getting into PVP a little more. Still no good at it but at least fighting other players gives you some variety. I bet there are huge swathes of the player base sick to death of the same dailies, UG or incursions but still won't try the DZ. It's practically like a whole new game to play. Yes it has many faults but it's a lot more satisfying dropping another player than an NPC.
Been enjoying survival, you learn a little bit every run and its generally straight forward once you learn the pacing and steps to take.
Got caught with my pants down last run though, got my choice loot of 3x Gear / 3x Survival caches and went to extract at DZ3 with my standard G36/M44 + balcony combo. Took my hunter out with plenty of time left and was chilling on the helipad crates minding my own business when all hell broke loose as 2 players + 2 hunters rolled in with 30 secs left. Killed one hunter but some how got insta downed by the other one even though he was in cover and not even looking at me. Luckily I managed to self-res and flanked him for the M44 MLG headshot. Extracted safe and sound in the end, so all good.
@Gamble I need to check the Div tech map you posted as I think I've found a few more to add![]()
The random nature of drops is a pain in the backside. As I said in a previous post, I am still to loot any Ab pieces in 1.5. This is despite spending an inordinate amount of time farming both the LZ and the DZ. I have since decided to stick with the set I am using at the moment, rather than chase any better drops. If I happen upon any better gear during my activities, so be it. Not sure what I'll do if the GS is increased...
With LB's chest piece, my elec goes up to about 118k (cool-down permitting). I was using a four piece Striker set up until recently, but the bonus is negligible tbh and I've not missed it. I would have much rather used an AB build as I had been doing since it was first introduced, but it's not meant to be.
I recently bought a PS4 slim and The Division but it's crashing at the "connecting" screen.
Other games work fine. Anyone else getting the issue on a slim?

I'm going to stick with the following -
Crit damage - 45%
Crit Chance - 25%
Armor - 55.4%
EAD - 65.5%
HS - 123%

Nice stats. What are the other 2 HE pieces? (Other than the chest piece)?
The random nature of drops also took me in a certain direction...I was planning on an AB/Nomad build but I've received a grand total of 2 x AB and 1 x Nomad from the hundreds of items that have dropped. Plenty of Deadeye and Hunters Faith that I don't ever run, and quite a bit of Final Measure, DFNC with a reasonable amount of Pred, striker and sentry (although most of the armour rolls are well below average). I sell about 90% of what I pick up. If I can improve one stat on one item on one character per day, then I'm happyLast night I improved my armour on a holster by 20 points...
Are you running the 2 AR in the hope of picking up the AB? You must burn through the ammo with a Famas and an LVOAC!
Cheers,
Ive had loads of ab, of course I don't want ab..
Damn you RNGesus.
Numerous updates, a public test server and the recently launched Survival Mode show Ubisoft Massive remains committed to the continuous improvement of The Division. A PC patch is due next week which will activate DirectX 12 support.
Said to target a "multitude of issues", the incoming update will fix issues tied to the loss of character controls, as well as problems with controllers on PC. It'll also address "lowered performance impact with high CPU usage" and will of course introduce DirectX 12.
