*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

So people are cheesing with AB in DZ PVP just to make people aware

Unlock or craft if you have a 182 blue print a low electronic weapon talent like competent, adept, capable on a sawn off side arm since it has 3 talents.

When engaing an enemy pull out your side arm, use your skill(s) heal, pulse or wyh and since Adept stacks and you get additional 10% weapon damage, 22.5% crit chance and better weapon handling for 15 seconds whilst using your primary lw m4 or lvoac.

People are running around with 50% + chc and 9 talents.

No wonder why we are getting melted

Rad will take 'em no problem....:D

lol :D

I would concur. Until last night, I wasn't fond of PVP but this has totally changed my view and I'm slightly addicted now :D Thanks to you 3 for putting up with my rambling, a good night indeed.

6 manhunts, 5 survived - how did we survive this though

Bloody hell, they made you work for that manhunt :D

yeh Rad it's crazy. So you can run with talents like

Brutal, Vicious, Fierce. Unforgiving, Responsive, Uncomplicated. Capable, Adept, Competent (For max CHC)

or

Brutal, Vicious, Determined. Unforgiving, Responsive, Uncomplicated. Capable, Adept, Competent. (Determined will help with the guaranteed kills you get for quick skill recovery aka skill spam)

If I was to do it for PVP I'd probably go

Brutal, Vicious, Destructive. Unforgiving, Responsive, Uncomplicated. Capable, Adept, Competent. (or maybe throw Harmful in there for extra fun. Predatory and Talented are good choices too) :p

You can run with any talent you want atm but this will be fixed as soon as it gets out of hand. When you engage players in DZ watch out for those who have their sawn off out first then switch to their main gun.

I've been stuck for things to do IG recently, until I kitted out my alt character with alpha bridge + savage gloves and a reckless holster and rolled all the stats into FA. It's a total joke of a setup, but I can hit for 600k-1mil which is hilarious when I shoot anyone I see from a huge distance:D

So the Sawn off stacks with all weapons, not just other shotguns?

yeah because it utilises talents that proc on a skill being used, which get transferred to your primary or secondary weapon for the duration of that talent.

Adept - increased CHC
Competent - increased weapon damage.

Are the ones people are aiming for for additional damage. Its nuts

Works on any gearset not just Alpha but for PVP Alpha is strongest as you can spec into a lot of CHC.

Also Momo confirmed that capable doesn't work when you switch weapons so there is no need to chase a sawn off shotgun. Any 182 side arm will do.

I had a blue print for an officers M9 so crafted until I got Adept or Competent. Then recalibrated Expert off for the missing talent I needed.

From what I've tested the only skills that do not proc the talent are: Turrets, Stations and Ballistic shield. Everything else is fine.

how squishy are you?

In a word...'very'. Still only level 14 with full level 14 gear but this guy was a level 13 basic enemy.
I find even basic guys take half a clip worth of headshots with an assault rifle to down.

If you need a hand levelling up etc add me, EED209

OMG doing CS Heroic with a team of randoms when they have no idea is the most frustrating thing in the world. You know its going to be hard work when 2 of the team stays back at the first section clearing all the guys left AFTER the container door is already blown off :mad::mad:

anyone up for farming it tonight? need someone that knows what they are doing haha

Watched the e3 trailer again last night and completely forgot just how much this game has changed, not only in graphics, map layout but also the UI screen and features i.e. the tablet/drone guy... :(

I hope with next years new DLC/patches, we will see extra graphics options and perhaps some of the UI brought back (not quite to the same extent though as even though it looks cool, it looks like a nightmare to operate). It is a shame that they were so thorough with cleaning out all those e3 graphic options from the config files unlike watch dogs... :p

That's the first time I have ever seen that! HUD looks so nice with those crisp icons and text.

Need that map - come on year 2! :D

I just rage quit. Emptied two full clips from my rifle in to a shotgunner as he ran towards me. He then 1 shotted me.

What level NPCs are you playing against in comparison to your level? I can take down vets/elites in close to 1/2 clip. The only thing I can think of is:

1. Taking on enemies too higher level (assuming you're still working through the story)
2. You need to address your kit/loadout/stats - if you're hitting 256 GS

Really wish they implemented that map, would have been so much nicer, especially when you browsing the map and getting shot at. At least with this map you can see it coming :)

Love the damage numbers in the trailer (90, 150), in the current game it would take days to down an NPC with damage like that :D

The map is so much bigger which leads me to suggest they realised pretty early on that they'd bitten off way more than they could conceivably ship. The map size was reduced considerably, you can see Brooklyn is way more than just a starter area at the end and the UI received a major overhaul.

If they do a 'Year 2' I'd like it to be a bigger map, perhaps a return to Brooklyn and Central park would be nice too.
