i liked the question surrounding where I would like to see division going :)

Even though I a massive advocate of survival and love it, I put that I wouild stop playing it soon as I know where most stuff is so its a no thinking run every time I do it. Randomise loot and add armour to hunters to give incentive to go for all HE gear etc

Thank you for submitting your answers for Tom Clancy’s The Division and its latest expansion, Survival. Upon Analysis we have made changes to the Dark Zone and renamed it to Discovery Zone "DZ". We hope that you find the changes adequate which have been play tested by the Elite Task Force this week. Their feedback has been invaluable and we know that we are heading in the right direction with the changes.


During next week there will be an update to the PTS where you (PC players) will be able to test Patch 1.6 for a certain period of time. Furthermore there will be another survey asking for your feedback.

Completed the survey...some interesting questions.

I haven't really got into survival, it isn't a game mode that interests me but I can see its appeal. I'd rather spend my limited time trying to improve my character.

I'm on an "enforced" break at the moment, working remotely in a very limited internet location...don't even have my gaming laptop with me.

I couldn't believe what was in the vendors this past week - MG5, a PP-19 with Predatory (perfect for my DF-C build) and some decent gear pieces and mods...just my luck that the week I can't access they're selling this decent gear...One week to go!

If you remove the focus on loot and focus purely on the game mode and the challenges that come with it - then you will enjoy survival.

If you focus on gear gained from survival - you wont enjoy it.

I thoroughly enjoy survival. I have been on my new account for only 52 hours now, two characters, 100% BoO and bot have had the 100 extracted items from survival achievement :D simply because I love it so much.

Survival is good at the start, but when you get used to where you spawn you can run a spawn to DZ without the map, which if I spawn on the left side, I can do and I win all the time as I know exactly where the loot crates are located, weapons, vanity and so on.

Best thing they could do for survival is to make the drop locations random ( outwith the landmarks) as that would make it much harder.

Also, give the hunters armour for crying out loud lol I two shotted one tonight on all green gear minus a HE holster and HE m44. Make me work and craft for that kill man :D

Maybe easy for you with all them hacks your running :p

joking aside i still havent killed a hunter yet, you should record your tactic at the sports place for me :D

@Dis86 once you hit 30 things get more fun imo, you start getting real gear and building your way to the top gear score (shouldnt take long for that)
then you have daily missions/objectives, underground stuff (if you have the dlc)
and ofcourse survival
then there is the DZ if your interested in pvp

Start doing Challenge missions with a team, Underground, Incursions. Decide what way you want your char to play (AlphaBridge build/Striker/Nomad etc) and store all the loot you get.

If you want a hand doing some of the challenge missions, add me - Gregster1970 and we can do some. I am about til 3pm ish and then out on the beer for the day but will be about all of tomorrow (off and on).

One thing - dont do close range combat with Hunters,it wont go well ;)
 
That PP-19 is decent in the BoO and I rolled off the third talent to get Ferocious, so talents are: Brutal, Destructive and Ferocious. A great gun to go with the D3-FNC build.

I can do that today :)
 
I use DZ 2 to extract from Survival. I just get on top of the middle bit and put down a turret and health station and use an M60 to wear them down and grenades to get them out of cover. The only time I have died there is when I got too close to them.
 
wooooo finally got an extraction! did it at the place you suggested, not sure i was in the best spot but theres so much more cover
came close to dying a few times but got him in the end :D
 
With my new high electrics build and playing solo tonight, I have managed to rack up a record 10 rogue kills! Most I had managed before tonight was 3-4. Some were a little bit of luck but some were a thing of beauty such as the two rogues standing together getting hit by my homing balls and then me alting with fast fire and rolling on in. Both went down in seconds with a hilarious protestation! I might pop back in and see if I can get a few more. :)

There are two ways at that spot:

1: Call the extraction and then run back towards the sports store, if the hunter spawns to your left try and chill on the stairs and wait for him to rush to the first cover point:

2: Call the extraction but go down the rope at the far side of the extraction, circle around and go up the rope opposite the extraction and beside sports store. Gives you room to move, revive yourself if you have a support station, chuck grenades etc.

Both of these are from the same extraction as some greedy little noob tried to jump in my chopper lol I had to kill his ******* hunter for him haha
