and regarding AI teams etc, what they could do is let you hire mercs for help on missions or something

Like that idea...you could scroll through a list of available mercs, choose them by their load out depending on what you wanted, or get them clean and fit them out from your stash. One of my favourite games of all time is the original Rainbow 6, I used to take as much time choosing my team and loadout as executing the mission!

Cheers

Well when I searched for reported problems it seemed not every one had a problem only a few so I tried to eliminate problems my end 1st. Anyway Im fed up with people on this forum just looking to start arguments If you dont have any thing constructive to add just stay silent is my motto and I wish a few more people followed it.

Easy tiger, no-one trying to start anything, just being practical and logical based on the matter at hand. If you want to willy-wave about your dual-fibre setup then go ahead, but under the circumstances I suspected this wouldn't help if the game servers themselves were down.

As I stated at the time only a few were reporting problem connecting. I did not state I had dual fibre. I have copper BT for my use normally and a low bandwidth virgin for others in house hold so no willy waving involved at all. I think may be you did not like the fact I had 2 connections available so you posted to make me look an idiot before you knew any facts.

Yep, I have issues with people with 2 connections, drives me nuts...

I had some facts. The fact Ubisoft were investigating connection issues for one.

Ok Last word on this.

Changing ISPs has helped in the past with connection problems due to the way each routes traffic. It has helped me in the past on a few games when some of the user base reported problems. So why do you have a problem with me trying it this time when no one else was saying what the problem was ?

tempted to blame my latest fails on lag.. died twice in a row trying to do my daily survival, both times just after getting into dz

must be an off day, not died in survival in ages lol

Tried to load up the game a few more times over the course of the evening, but no luck. Something about ubisoft services being unavailable. Ended up playing fallout 4 and using the console commands to spawn 200 deathclaws. Which was nice.

Last night (Feb 9th's) State of the Game highlights:

That’s very worrying they destroy build diversity and talk about how its improved? How can the devs be so out of touch with there own game and players! I have lost all hope of 1.6 being any good now.

Keep plodding through the story missions, take your time and collect gear appropriate for your level and try out as many weapon types and skills as you get them. Your gear will become under-levelled quickly as you progress through the levels so don't get too attached to anything.

Once you hit level 30, you'll then start the process of gearing up to gear score 256 (the current level cap)

There's no huge rush to enter the Dark Zone. If it intrigues you, go ahead and try it, you should mostly be in the same level range as other human players, so shouldn't encounter people who are massively over-skilled compared to you.

Don't go in at level 14, lots of experienced players drop to 14 in order to have quite balanced PVP.

Maybe venture in after rank 20 if you wish

the dark zone is just a place for pvp, i wouldnt go there expecting to farm gear

like ryan said just keep working your way to 30 through the missions as you will out-level gear quickly anyway

Problem with going into the Dark Zone is that it's hard to get out because it's a lot of fun finding nice loot and getting it out and killing the mobs, much better PVE experience.

It's a shame there are n00bs who try to PVP you, but it's not so hard to ignore them and escape.

When trying to get out loot, you can hide somewhere pretty far away from the zone while overlooking it and then get the loot out if no one comes.

Avoid gunfire, but that can be tricky since enemy mobs can start fights with each other but you can sometimes tell the differences between their firing and real players at times.

You can easy farm gear there, I find the best zones to airlift gear out is the zones close to the map edges since they can provide the best cover and escape routes. One has a awesome metro system next to it that you can dive inside, also the exit to the zone is close by.

There is a zone in the middle that I find more risky, but there is a nice spot you can overlook the whole area and if anyone comes, you can use the rope to make an escape next to you. Had to do that once, didn't think they saw me once.

I find best times to farm is nighttime to the morning, less players on but during the day can be done, just avoid people and if a zone is too active, then just exit the zone and come back later to extract the loot.

Ive been looking to give this a go now its £15-ish and Ive hit a dry spell for games but I just cant seem to pull the trigger,so to speak. I'm worried I will get bored of the repetitive gameplay seeing as I will never play online and only want to SP it.
