*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

You'll easily get your £15's worth. Watch a few gameplay videos and decide. Well worth your time if you're looking for something new, the mechanics are (after lots of patches and polishing) very solid.

Wanted to remember my 200ish runs in Lexi for Barrets, did 1 run today and got Barrets on first go (when i dont need it anymore) :D
This game is a major spy in ya head :D

I'm worried I will get bored of the repetitive gameplay seeing as I will never play online and only want to SP it.

Ah this happened to me really, I played for a few weeks and finished the main story line and got myself up too Level 28/29 and started doing the Darkzone stuff.

Got bored now the main missions are over. I will go back to it in time, but it's worth the money after a little break from the game.

Ive been looking to give this a go now its £15-ish and Ive hit a dry spell for games but I just cant seem to pull the trigger,so to speak. I'm worried I will get bored of the repetitive gameplay seeing as I will never play online and only want to SP it.

worth noting that this is an always-online game..
it does get repetitive but so does every game really, for me its well worth the money.. ive played almost everyday since i got it and im near 200 hours in and thats all solo play

Is this a made for pad game or is KBM support just as good? About to give it a good go and I like to stick with one or the other right from the start

The game works very well with both.

I have put 1,948hrs into the game just using a 360 controller, no issues with that at all :)

Thats what I was hoping. I do love KBM but I have a awful trapped nerve/sciatica at the moment so hunching over my desk isnt the most pleasant experience :(

Elite controller it is then!

You can play fine with a pad, its has quite a few settings for controller, and has a slight aim assist, by default, but you can turn it off, but i just leave it on. I play mainly on kbm but when I want to relax and Play I hook it up to the to the TV and it plays good on pad but looks amazing on a big screen!

Played the Beta, decided £40 at that point wasn't worth it.

Is it now worth the punt?

Can get it for £15.

Very much so. I'd actually recommend looking for a good deal on the season pass too because Last Stand (the DLC that will be coming out in the next few weeks) is an absolute hoot. Plus Survival plays quite different to the main game - You can sink quite a bit of time into that alone.

Its a test server. IIRC, any progress made on there will not be kept.

Yep, PTS = Public Test Server. And it's only available at certain times, so no - don't download it. It'll become available as they test new changes prior to releasing a new patch. Players get the chance to go in and test the changes and give feedback (the devs collect their own data based on what players are doing too).

You don't need to get involved in this at all if you don't want to, it's purely optional. Some enjoy getting to play with the new content early, some are happy to wait until the proper patch gets released.
