Agreed, which is why I've pretty much decided on Reclaimer+TA as my main build to give decent support :)

Strikers backed-up with a Reclaimer would be immense :cool:

I now have 4 pc tactitians with 2 piece reclaimers. For two reasons, ug and dn, both heroic (when it comes out)

This will result in, capped smart cover and a support station with 100% healing speed.

Loving the reclaimers, very fun.

Gz both on UG 40 :), but damn gamble I thought my tanktician was sneaking up on you, 140/640/27 I should have known better :)

Solid build bud :) me and def were discussing the benefit of 600k/700k toughness and the difference is neglible tbh. But it looks cool so why not lol

Done a decent bit of PVP, iirc I have killed 35-40 rogue agents, which should be a lot more if people didn't get the final "beatdown" in before me :p Personally I am not a big fan of the PVP in this game, too many variables to it, not to mention glitches, the most popular one being where you can have explosive + inced. at the same time....

Yes it is good in a way as you know what to play to get certain items but at the same time, take myself for example, I only want sentry/tact/striker stuff likewise for Josh and Tony iirc, so we/I have no option but to play the most boring incursion there is. How many people bother with HVT's because of it being sponsored by lonestar now, I think the only reason people do it is for the credits? And that leads me onto the needing intel stuff to do that + some underground stuff, I don't mind grind but there comes a point where you just have too much just for the sake of it.... They need to make it a bit different/more fun each time rather than doing the exact same mission over and over again a bit like what they did with underground where the missions are always slightly different. In my experience, the majority of drops in underground are firecrest and most of the weapon drops are x45 pistols..... :(

Yup, it is no fun the DZ atm, last night, tony, josh and I where trying to farm the dz 6 but the landmarks were just going down instantly due to 2+ groups with the fire/explosive bullet exploit + when we went to extract, they came to our extraction, chances are if we didn't die by the NPCs first, they would have gone rogue on us.

Don't get me wrong, the game is great especially the journey to rank 30, iirc, I have 300 hours from it so have definitely got my moneys worth from it but some of massive's decisions are just mind boggling at times by making it even more grindy with certain changes and with the continually shrinking player base, I am concerned about future DLC content now.

I see where you're coming from. DZ should have been a competitive environment but with all the glitches and issues it takes any enjoyment and fun out from the game.

Likewise for Heroic missions I do them for the challenge but once I've figured out the best strat they become monotonous but I continue to do them to improve my gear for every eventuality.

Similar to Gamble I'm working on various gearset builds so I can mix things up a bit if for example playing as support gets repetitive. This is what I find enjoyable which is the variation between builds and seeing what other people have chosen for pvp and pve.

My Sentry build for FL Heroic has 0% EDR whereas for DN Heroic I will definitely need exotic resilience. These type of games are always a grind and if UG is giving you awful drops then that's rng for you. We've all had days where we get rubbish but don't let that put you of.

UG whilst refreshing it does become tiresome so having a horde based mission like FL adds variety. I do HVT mainly for this reason, whilst it gives Phoenix credits, random chance of useful loot, vanity items etc it's something different to do if I need a break or need to complete a weekly task.

Massive need to inject fun into this game though and that imo is what is lacking.

Still not picked up the Underground DLC, everyone I speak to in-game says it's not worth it.
Is there any reason to go back in after hitting L40?

Right now I'm just running Hero FL to finish a 268 Tact set thats better than my 240.

I spent some time re-rolling weapon talents and gear last night. Despite the fact that I have STILL not looted a pair of Sentrys gloves and a backpack, I managed to increase my stats, albeit marginally. They now stand at -

Alpha Bridge -
352k dps (311k when not at full health)
527k Toughness
35.5% Crit chance
155% Crit damage

If I could manage to get a decent pair of gloves, I'm sure I could acheive higher stats. Especially if I rolled off elec and went for firearms. That said, despite not benefiting from a two piece bonus (Ideally 2xsentry = headshot damage), I'm still having fun with it. If anyone is considering an Alpha Bridge build, I recommend it.

A quick question if anyone can answer please.

if you have hit the 75% on armor is there any point of using the +armor on gear or can it be re rolled for something else?

It affords you a little more flexibility in certain situations. For example, I was using a +armour stamina mod. I eventually looted a piece of armour that pushed me into 75% +. Because of this, I was able to replace my armour bonus stam mod with a crit bonus one instead but still retain the 75% mitigation cap.

I cant remember how its worded off the top of my head, but I think that its "+100% support station healing speed"

I will try test it tonight, just threw it together and logged off tbh.

That's spot on actually ha ha! Do report back please. I saw Arekkz try it and it works fast, also mitigates bleed quicker.

Hey Progen! Yes imo it's worth it. Nice drops, something else to do etc.

No man, I have a few additions that help me get to that speed. 5000 is the hard cap for it, no point in trying to make it higher. I'm pretty happy with 4700, seems to do a decent enough job :)

Sorry, what I meant was if 5000 = 100%? Nice job doing with additions though!

Try and get rid of vicious! I assume you already tossed focused? Other than that that's one heck of a build mate!

I'm almost there for an AlphaBridge build! All I need is a pair of gloves when they're fixed tomorrow. I'll then proceed replacing the parts by better versions as I obtain them. I'll make it so that I can combine with FM, Blind, Sentry's, Striker's and see which I like best. Picked up a few potential secondary weapons already.

I hope you get your missing items soon! If we happen to be playing together and I get them they're yours.

No point, I'd re-roll for something else.

Correct. If the base armour on all your gear without gear mods is already hitting 75%, there is no need to roll anything towards armour OR use gear mods with armour as it will be wasted.

That has always been my goal with 240 gear, which was made easier with 268 gear. Allows a lot more flexibility to toll unique stats and really tailor your build without worrying about having to waste a roll to put kneepads to armour for example.

Stamina mods with + skill power/crit hit chance or even +health are good
Firearms with + crit chance/+stamina
Electronics with + skill power/ + edr

The above are what I am for mostly for all my gear so I can just swap and change gear already full of mods. :) Makes life a lot easier and changes a lot quicker.

My Alphabridge build(still a work in progress), need to replace the gloves with 268, currently have 214. Also keep looking for AR's with good talents, a 268 and even a 182, Electronics are letting me down with a couple of talents, need to work on that.

Thanks to Momo, Rad and Defi for the FL Heroic run this morning. Picked up a couple of 268 Tactician and Striker gear, plus Rad and Momo both donated a piece of each.
Just need to do more Incursions to get even better gear.

@f34r - We were discussing yesterday the feasibility of the Alpha gloves people already own being fixed or modified and I think the chances of them doing this are quite low.

They will definitely be able to fix what will be picked up in the future however.

Will see tomorrow I suppose

My god Idleman ha ha! Nice build in your earlier post. How do you like the combination with Blind and having to run with a pulse?

I'm internally debating: 2 Sentry's or Striker's for a 4 Reclaimer DPS oriented build? Leaning towards the former because the increase in headshot DMG pairs nicely with my weapon talents. I should just try both.

@ Ed: I was hoping to make a longer reply previously but my break was over. Gamble caught the essence of what I wanted to say so follow his guide. Remember that the mask and backpack can roll the highest skill power, vest and pads EDR.

Oh no they won't be able fix existing gloves. Sold mine and I'll just aim for picking a pair up after tomorrow. Not easy to get though so far (had two pair of bugged ones). Maybe I'll spend an hour in the DZ daily.

@Tek: what's your skill power?

I'll be in the DZ this evening if you fancy trying to loot those gloves? My skill is 12.7k, which is just about enough for my needs.
