*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Will test this today as its just a .nip, but can you link me the post behind this file?

Want to see what makes this alternate and what has been changed.

Don't worry about it, I found what they changed and tested it - no difference unfortunately.

Its the vram usage - this game just wont utilise it all for me at 4k, sits about 75% and then reduces itself to 45fps when it gets busy.

Real pity though as this game is beautiful at 4k, with every setting maxxed and sweetfx on top:(Full res in spoiler)

Even on the menu screen!

How much Vram is yours using?

I wonder if we use the same settings as mine uses about 6.8Gb or around there.

So, you can finally get some sleep now? :D

So what's everyone's take on the DZ weapon mods; worth it now over the iLevel 31 mods from the base? I'm specifically interested in getting higher crits.

According to Arekkz DN HC is coming this Tuesday... :D Let the farming commence! I know Phryke will always be up for it so send me an invite if there's space after the launch.

Same :D

Probably the time they nerf the G36 as well :)

and i thought me deconstructing my aug from the boo was bad :eek::eek::eek:

I went and sold my boo aug last night, on purpose though. Even with the nerf the G36 will probably do more damage. Was reluctant to sell it though.

Some stuff really ruins this game imo:

1. when you more or less get end game gear, pointless playing any more, especially anything other than DZ 6, heroic incursions

2. if you want certain gear, you just have to farm one mission i.e. striker/sentry, only FL

3. getting 2+ groups running around as a small army, massive need to implement something where if they are all "friends" and one group goes rogue and the other group is within a certain proximity to said group, then that group will also go rogue

Wow, you're a negative little soul aren't you. If you don't enjoy the game then please feel free not to share and let the rest of us enjoy it for what it is :)

Is it perfect? Hell No!!!

Is it a bloody good game? Hell Yes!!

LOL, looks like I touched a nerve :D

If you don't like your precious game getting some negative feedback, feel free to either:

1. not comment on my post and continue to sink time into the game even more instead

2. simply don't reply and shrug it of as someone having an "opinion" on what needs to be improved/changed in order to make the game better....

3. accept that this is an internet forum and people are entitled to post whatever the hell they want in a "discussion" forum, be it good or bad, I am not going to worry about upsetting some body on ze internetz....

I don't think anyone who isn't a fanboy of ubi/massive/the game... would disagree with those 3 points as from reading reddit and playing with my lot, we all raised the exact same points.

Do you not want to see a good game get even better? Or would you rather it continue the way it is? The player base on steam is already starting to drop back of again and the player base didn't return anywhere near the 200k player peak they had at launch with this new paid for DLC and guess what... if there is no interest in this game with only a few thousand players left, why will massive/ubi sink time and more importantly money into making sure that future content is of good quality as well as updates/patches?

I personally think Massive have given up, the game is so riddled with bugs it's not even funny!!! No complaints from me though, I've sunk 400 hours into it and enjoyed every minute tbh (even though sometimes I've done the odd rage quit) :D

Kinda how I've been feeling lately

Ive tried farming for some new gear but even today when I got some decent stuff I've got bored

after the end game it feels hollow

Its a cycle of

Farm new gear
Try new gear\sets
Realise it isn't that good
Go back to old gear
Farm new gear
Try new gear
Eventually find something worthy
New patch introduces even better gear
Repeat

It feels like even with great kit that theres nothing to do but farm for more or go to the Dz form some pvp but even then if you meet a group with high end kit who know what they're doing you end up dying too many times and give up

I think the dz could benefit from an overhaul too

More players per server
Expand the area
Maybe a faction based system so instead of small groups you have 2 large groups battling for territory , prizes etc. Keep small groups of friends still as squads
Make it so which ever faction you're in the npcs of that faction wont attack you but will attack opposing faction members
Etc etc

In fairness to Massive and The Division, the 'get gear, DLC/Patch, get new, better gear' cycle is the same for any loot based game. Borderlands 2 and Destiny are two that immediately spring to mind that are exactly like that.
