Lots of people are leveling-up alts, so you shouldn't be short of friendos for doing the last few missions and side missions. They once you hit level 30 it's a matter of working your way through the 5 World Tiers to get to max gear score.
 
It's a shame gear isn't tier-scored as well. I levelled an alt a few days ago and jumped from level 29 to 30 tier 5 as i already have all the gear in my stash lol.
 
So the last few nights I have been trying PVP with a different type of weapon - burst fire!

So I had burst fire mp5, with a normal mp5 as secondary in alphabridge - spec'd for chc and chd so with everything procced, I was capped at 60% chc, and 150% chd on a weapon with 20.5k base damage.

It melted people! But, considering I was losing EAD it wasn't much more - if any more powerful than AR alphabridgr and a lot more difficult to use - due to the burst fire.

So this afternoon, I tried burst fire assault rifle alphabridge instead thanks to twirly who dropped a brutal, deadly weapon doing an hvt.

Still speccing chd of course with some chc on gloved and 1 weapon talent + pulse and its a scary beast.

22k bodyshots, 27k headshots whilst I was on booster and barrets - 30k damage assault eifle after that.

Going to play with it more later as I reckon I could get the damage to 45k with tactical advance as well.

It is very very hard to get used to burst fire though via clicking but wow....its insane.I have been practicing and can basically use it like an auto weapon now, but I still mess it up during pvp sometimes and lose the rhythm of clicking.

Will try grab some clips of it later on, hadn't planned on being on tonight but will be on about midnight.
 
cant remember who it was but one of the big streamers was raving about burst fire weapons the other day if you can master rapid firing it.

ExodusXG - he uses burst fire mp5's but I think he started on scroll wheel and moved to clicking after that in case it ever got fixed.

Its insane fun lol I reckon one burst could bring someone down after tactical advance. Hacku hacku :D

ah yeah thats him.

people were calling him out for using a macro on twitch, he showed on camera how he just times his left clicks.

Yeah he admitted it as well. Click half way through the burst and it starts the next burst automatically.

Went manhunt and survived twice with the burst mp5, and did it once this afternoon with the AR. I have been in the DZ a lot on this account. Almost rank 80 already and surpassed rogue kills from my old account. :D
 
i gave the burst fire weapons a try when i first hit 30.. atleast the AR ones
the trouble is, their RPM is lower than rated and unless you mod them for long range your putting yourself at a disadvantage by not using an m4/lvoac
since the only reason to use burst-fire is for stability

Not necessarily. The burst fires are more unstable then my lightweight m4 and lvoac.

My normal ab build has lvoa-c and wanted to try something different and tbh, I faced off with a lwm4 user and won due to the massive increase in damage.

I still prefer the lightweight m4 and lvoa-c but this is an interesting break from that gun :)

However, you are making it hard for yourself and I am still getting used to the burst ar, but with the burst smg, you would hardly notice the difference watching me shoot now ;)

I highly doubt people would go to wildlands over division tbh - let alone many. a lot of folks on the ocuk discord are saying wildlands is absolute pants but could be fun with friends but overall - will be short-lived if they don't massively improve on the bugs and lack of repeatability considering there is no real grind like there is in div.

Other games may pinch the remaining playerbase however so massive need to start the year 2 conversation very soon Imo.

The smgs will come back in 1.6, especially the burst fire as you don't need yo worry about EAD as much for dz / last stand.

Cant wait to open all my caches, sort gear and sell **** tbh, get my toons back to normality.
