*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Found a hybrid tacticians/final measures build I quite like - need a few better items for it really but quite a nice mixed defensive, control build with OK damage output for use in a team.

Such a shame that they aren't adding something like zombies/infected to the game, I know a lot of people are against it but like I said on DC, they need something completely new/different to bring people back into this game AND keep them playing and whilst many may be against it, I think the vast majority of people would like to see zombies/infected in this game as a separate game mode, it is such a popular game mode for COD etc. and this game is practically made for it.

Doing constant rebalances, a few new gear items, increasing gear score and opening a new part of the map every now and then along with a new incursion is simply not enough and I don't know why they keep doing the same thing expecting a different outcome :/

I'll come back for 1.8 like all the previous patches but as with them, I can't see myself playing any longer than 1-2 weeks at most....

Same reason Eve Online has generally been in decline.

A zombie mode would actually be really fun in this game with a bit of reworking of survival mode having to work through a huge zombie threat to extraction after crashing rather than against time with the infection - trying to dodge zombies in the snow storm would be quite something heh.

Im quite sure its Ubi who not allow different ideas in game, maybe they keeping them for Div 2.0?
So far best DLC was Survival-still playing till this day and still awesome, even tho i know all there.
I hate zombie-they are used in so many games..
From what i heard game code itself is problematic, thats why we never saw proper anti cheat, net code is bad also.
I like Div - no other game like this, sure i wanted more, but its first game i played 2100+ hours.
After i totally get bored of Div,i hope i hear news about Div 2

Although they've introduced a Horde style mode I'd love to see public events where the safe houses get attacked or a Horde mode event at the Base of Operations where they try to attack it and you need to fend them off. Have it timed with rewards and mix it up with various buffs and effects a bit like the global events.

I don't think they are that silly.

Financially i dont think they would want to bring the entire playerbase back at this point. Why invest that time and money in to a low cost / free DLC if it can be packed in to a new game which they know most of us would snap up. Ching Ching $$$. I think there's some calculated decisions being made around investment and return with these DLC packs and i just hope really good stuff is being saved for Div 2.0.

I am still looking forward to 1.8, as with every patch. I just hit it way too hard recently. Already prepared for 1.8, got all my builds setup etc so hopefully we will get a date soon.

TD was the first game for me to play this long, and also get so involved with community stuff. I hope they do TD2 eventually with the current level of activities as a base if not more

Yep,in fact i hope they do TD2 at all :D
There is way to much potential with this game, even TD still can offer tons of content, but only if Ubi allows to make it,but feels like keeping cards for TD2
For me TD was hands down one of the most epic games with all bad/good at same time

i have one char at lvl 20,might be good to level up to 30 as well, its easy tho,XP left and right, sure is much faster with someone using 256 gear

I've taken almost a month off from the division but I'm still looking forward to 1.8, should be a nice update. Will be interested to see how PVP works properly in the live game.

Started playing this on PC after picking up the Gold edition for just over £23 on GMG. Really enjoying it despite capping out at 256 on PS4 (I stopped playing around patch 1.5/1.6).

First thing I noticed was how well it played on my 8700K/1070 at 1440p max settings (albeit shadows on High instead of the Nvidia specific settings*). Sits around 60-70FPS which is lovely and smooth with G-sync. The next thing I noticed is how easy headshots are now. :D

I did have a couple of issues with no dialogue audio (sound card tweak fixed that) and DX12 API causing constant freezes (running on a 850 evo NVME SSD so shouldn't have any I/O bottlenecks). Switching back to DX11 solved the problems with only a minor loss in FPS.

Currently up to level 7 and have one blue weapon to my name.... :p

*Genuine question but in game can anyone actually tell the difference? I imagine it might be noticeable in screenshots but I honestly cannot see anything actually change.

Game has been borderline unplayable for me last 2 days :( underground lots of lag on using skills and all kinds of random BS, rest of the game not much better :(

At the best of times it seems like it is just about holding on - any time the game gets remotely busy it just falls apart.

Level 26 now :D forgot how hard some parts are but slowly building up my DPS and Toughness.

Had a lot of trouble with bad connection to host server tonight, so was getting a bit of lag. Enemies just appearing in front of me and wiping me out.

Same, had few hours of play yesterday and did LS,but it was nearly impossible to play as it was literally Matrix movie with all shots coming 5sec later.

Had a dabble over weekend and forgot how well this game looks, did a few missions to try getting back into swing of it and the gunplay is still fun.

Interesting SOTG. Seems they are changing the classified drop rates to include all bosses which is good. But they are upping the drop rate at the same time, which makes sense as we now have a larger pool to get them from.

1.8 next week, GE week after

They seem completely out of touch with the reality of the game as per the perspective of the average player though :( and don't seem to see where there is a lot of potential to expand on the game in fairly simple ways even to bring in more players.

Since the Black Friday weekend its been borderline unplayable for me with lots of delayed heals, etc. etc. as well which is no fun.
