Problem is that they "looking into it" now in how many SOTG's? This brings another problem - people tired of waiting,because some now will need yet another grinding for gear,and that doesnt sound to good to those who not so passionate about game.
Balance is good when its done properly,sadly Massive seems cant fix 1 thing without breaking another 2.
I like this game as much as any of you,but seeing what they turning this game into is just sad.Every update brings more and more problems,they keep giving us stupid gear sets,promises in every SOTG,nerfs after nerfs even tho they promised to be only buffs.
Watching SOTG and reading peeps posts on twich stream just feels how many are frustrated.
And as someone said before loot change patch - "we might get more loot,but what about its quality" - he was correct.And when NRGesus not on your side this game can become quite frustrating even for biggest fans.
That "bit of balancing" might never end actually,since they keep pushing updates without properly testing them and then either nerfing or removing some things,which leads to players frustration.

will i miss the power of the G36, sure. but having 1 standout weapon would break the balance again and buffing all AR would just reverse the situation where everyone ran SMG.

They should have addressed the toughness of npcs before they made any changes to any weapons, it's as simple as that.

If the toughness of the npcs remained the same as what they are currently, then instead of nerfing the g36, they should have buffed all the other AR and other weapons, like I said, the only reason the g36 appeared OP's was because of the other weapons being **** in the first place against "current" 34/35 npcs.

Not really, as from my experience:

- does anyone bother crafting/buying blueprints any more? (1. cause they are all useless unless you are rank 40 in UG and want that certain gear 2. the amount of materials you need to craft items is ridiculous)
- does anyone bother with the dark zone shops? (originally, you use to get pretty good gear here)
- does anyone bother with the div tech. boxes now? (remember the grind/bottleneck at the start where as now, we have a bucket load of them and they don't seem to be really used for much now, not to mention, we don't really have much to craft in the first place anyway...)
- does anyone really bother with the yellow gear items they pick up? (I don't see the point of 229 yellow items when you can get 268 gear easily enough that is generally far better anyway)

Amongst many other things.

Maybe this will be different for new players to the game but for those who bought it on release day, a lot of the changes just seem to have killed said areas of the game, which were originally intended to be a big part of the game and how you got the best gear, now you just have to rely on doing incursions, UG on heroic or farming DZ 6 and supply drops.

Fl - largest chance for sentrys, strikers, tacticians
Cs - largest chance for predators and hunters
Dn - largest chance for reclaimer and dead eye
Ug - largest chance for firecrest and blind
DZ largest chance for alphabridge and nomad.

All areas - chance of everything else not specifically stated.

I think that's right anyway.

Many would say Challenging on UG is a waste, as the rewards vs the time it takes isn't worth it. Hard for quick runs (XP mostly), Heroic for loot.

That said, there's a chance to get 268 gear from Hard runs, HVTs, etc, but again, it's small.
 
That's what i was just thinking. Can always complete them, just takes so dam long.
Is the step up to Heroic much different? I mean...I always run out of ammo anyway :D
Guess you have to be a certain level to unlock them unless you join someones group/

To get guaranteed 268 gear, you need heroic modes and DZ5/6 in the dz231+ bracket.

CM gives a chance of it, but for CM UG, it takes the same amount of time as heroic basically.

20/25 I think. Don't quote me as I cant remember properly.

Give me a shout over the weekend perhaps? I don't mind running it as I have unlocked it all so could help get you levelled up for running it as leader :)

Holy crap, what happened? Why are so many people's stats all over the place? I thought they just nerfed the G36 gun?
Dread to see what happened to mine, think i was 480k toughness and 200k dps

My drop in Toughness is because I had 2 stats on the AB gloves, FA and Stamina. Now it only has FA, so with the loss of DPS and the removal of the Stamina stat, my Toughness is affected. I have had to remove the AB gloves and replace them with B.L.I.N.D gloves to improve my DPS(185k) and Toughness(386k), but I lose the talents of my secondary AR.
Just feels like I have to start all over again.
