I did that yesterday, logged in at about 6pm, saw the lads had grouped up and logged out 5 minutes later. Not been on since, longest period of not playing.
Just finding it hard to get motivated to play, it is starting to get too repetitive.

If any of you guys want to do FL,im planning to do it in few hours if plans not going to change.
Need sentry with certain stats

Slowly feeling the same here. Usually can't wait to play or make myself have an hour to two to play, but the last few days I've been hit or miss. Not having the motivation.
I have a holiday on the 13th for 2wks, I know myself and I know once I'm back I more than likely won't ever log in again :(

(Unless something major happens)

Gamester noticed you not been on for a few days - it is very quiet on discord apart from the usual guys teaming up....

I started a reddit team and they were very good - We did FL twice in about 40minutes altogether.... I suggested using bottom left and this guy was no top right is the place to do it... I was sceptical but he was right - much more space to work in and easier access to all enemies and no mortar fire.....

Chefie and Jedi came on later and we did a heroic UG run with a random....

Hi bud, just finding it hard to get motivated. Logged in a couple of times, then just logged straight out. Just seems like a continuous grind to get better gear, then in a months time will likely get another DLC making a lot of gear obsolete. Then start all over again. Rinse and repeat comes to mind.
I'll see how I feel at the weekend, although the football season starts next weekend, so will be spending more time watching games, rather than playing.

Yeah I totally agree with you - for me its the banter we have which is more fun... when you get most the gear you need collecting things don't seem special as most of its junk... and you are right you build up a decent set finally, then they nerf or bring new sets out - I guess If they didn't do this then it would be more stale as there isn't enough new content to keep things interesting :)

Like yourself will be watching footy more when the new season starts :)

Yeah it has been very quiet on discord this week! Last night there were 7 people in channels and that was it really, not even many sitting in AFK.

Im now aiming to collect for builds I haven't tried before, and to fully optimise my current builds including minor attributes etc more so than I have done.

Still got a few reclaimer pieces to get that have SC resistance and pulse crit damage and then I can drop the electronics on that build to favour toughness etc. If you focus on min/max, then there is a lot more to "just obtaining" the gear piece item as that isn't optimisation of builds, but the flip side of that, is that it takes a lot longer to do this which most people (including myself sometimes) can get bored of the grind, especially when most of the drops are complete garbage unfortunately.

Im going to cut back my playing a bit, but will still play a few games each night. I still enjoy the content when I don't think about gear.

I have heard top right is easier, but have never done a whole FL up there.

I prefer bottom left to be honest, or if someone has high EDR - then I prefer top left.

Righttttttttttt. Just hit 30 with wife, just got the last 'zone' to complete. What kind of stuff should we be doing to gear up?

I still love the game and believe it has a lot of unexplored potential. The DZ has virtually become a no go area for solo players, with the risks out weighing the benefits or rewards.
It's a shame they can't separate it into 2 areas:

1: PvE, where you can still go in and farm for the gear and level up. But also have some missions, weekly and/or dailies. Expand the story a bit more into the DZ.

2: PvP, have some missions whereby you are competing against other groups(rogues v agents), as well as NPCs. With extra rewards for completing the mission within a time scale and completing any set directives.

We all play the game and all have our own ideas on how to improve the game and the playing experience, I just hope Ubi/Massive look at bringing some of these ideas into the game.

IMO, they should make the DZ PVE only and expand it, along with various new activities to do throughout it.

You could still get locations cleared by other players, supply drops stolen, but there is no PVP.

Then they should create a PVP arena / ringfenced game type like most online shooter games for DM/TDM etc etc

They need to accept the social experiment of the DZ hasn't worked out well, and that they don't know how to balance PVE/PVP to suit(because its not possible) hence, they need to either remove PVP, or create a new place to do it with controls in place.

When I first entered the DZ was a fun experience - the risk of high level PVE and also some other players could attack you....

Now its spoilt by:--

Players roaming around in large groups with PVP builds
Players levelling up to a lower level and picking on the newer players

Needs sorting out...

I still remember the first time I went in the DZ, and specifically the first time I had to extract as back then it was SO BUSY!!!

You would have like 12 -15 people around one rope, and no one knew who was going to go rogue, if anyone (most times they didn't back then as the risk was higher than now)

Proper heart beating moments! Was fantastic lol

And also, the loot sub lvl 30 you got from the DZ was generally much better than what you were currently wearing so when you lost it, it felt like you had really lost something whereas now, no one really cares.

I do miss the old DZ before gearsets sometimes.
