You don't even have to return it... Not as if they are signed for ;) Not that I would do that
 
i ordered via tesco when the code was still active and at the time is said it will be despatched intime for me to have the game on release date. now it says 4-5 working days. kinda worried tbh :(

I pre-ordered from Amazon , they have never let me down yet with first class post for release day titles !

Soooo excited.
 
The thing about getting it for release day is that will be late as it activates at midnight on Friday. I remember when you used to get things the day before release day, could be playing it Thursday night then (well Friday morning but you know what I mean).

yeh preorders for release stop at 12pm, then they run them all through their fancy 5minute despatch system and get them out that day.....mine normally arrive the next day and certainly by friday and you get an email that night/next morning showing you what the parcel will look like :P

i order a fair bit of new releases from there and never had any go missing or late. Amazon on the other hand always are late.

Neat, haven't ordered from shopto for a while, but last time I did they got a Friday release to me on the Tuesday before!

Amazon have always been terrible with preorders - I remember with Oblivion when they told me that "they didn't have enough CE editions" just a couple of days before release - not the first time they have done that to me either!
 
Bethesda Softworks has today announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be on sale from 00:01 on 11th November 2011, at GAME London Oxford Street and gamestation Birmingham New Street. The first 250 people to join the queue at each store will receive a The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim goody bag, whilst the first 100 people in the queue will also receive a The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim strategy guide and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim music CD.

Oh, it said when I pre ordered from tesco that it would be dispatched to arrive by release day. They probably took that down now as its too late for them to fulfill new orders to be posted early enough.

i was thinking the same thing, but does tesco + other retailors prioritize whether you get the game on release date based on when you ordered the game?
