The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I really wish that collectors guide was still available to buy :( Would be really nice to browse through the artwork included. Not to mention the interactive map.

Might pop into Game friday morning and see if they happen to have one for sale.

I won't be playing to "finish it" - probably won't even touch the main quest. I want a few days off to enjoy it while it is fresh off the press :)

I cancelled my pre-order following this guide. (Oops, Steam Forum is down.)

Basically you need to sign up to Steam Support (the confirmation email took a few hours to arrive for me), then you need to open a ticket, and make sure all the correct options are selected. I can't remember the correct refund options now, sorry. It took them 24 hours to respond to my ticket.

It took them a number of days to eventually get the refund sorted. If you still want to cancel, be quick about it, and make sure to state that you want the refund back to your original payment card, or they'll waste another day's worth of response time asking you if you want it credited to your Steam Wallet instead.
 
Is anyone else predicting that Steam servers will buckle under the weight of all those millions of activations possibly at the same time?
