Yeah, people shouldn't be worried about space... Clearly they've just managed to pack a lot into the filesize. Much better than BF3! I can actually fit Skyrim on a SSD!

That people can pre-load is so annoying! I really want to get it now! I'll have the discs, so it won't take long to install, but still! TOO LONG!

Skyrim has to run through your steam folder though. I have mine on Raid 0 samsung f3s which should manage just fine

The SSD thing is a great idea! May invest in a SSD for this depending on the load times

Hopefully anyone will learn from this that if you want to play the game as soon as it releases you do not order the disk version !

Always go through steam.

Do you really want hundred of missing or scratched DVDs laying around? I don't even have a DVD player on my PC anymore - only a usb one fro installing windows.

2. We get it before release anyway, and we get it cheaper.

Like it's been said a million times, It's steamworks. The only reason i'm getting the disk version is because it's cheaper, no need to download plus you get a pre-order bonus.

Also none of my disks are missing or scratched...

what a stupid ignorant thing to say...the game is locked till friday anyway so it doesnt matter where you order it from.

If you get retail from a source that is known to not get them out in time to try and save a few quid then you cant be surprised when it doesnt turn up on day1....if you get it from places like shopto that have processes in place to deal with preorders and ship them well before release then you have nothing to worry about.
