Yeah mine to, although I think their SMS alerts are broken because I've been sent both the alerts twice :confused:

Really excited for this! Hope i'm not disappointed like the last 4 times I pre-ordered something. I've loved every Bethedsa RPG I've played so far so I can't imagine I will be though.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is Shopto's fault or my banks.

Last night when I placed the order, the payment was declined twice. So I placed it through paypal instead and it was fine.

This morning I have a phonecall from my bank - Fraudulent activity detected on your account, account frozen, enter details.

LOLwut???

So I just headed down to my bank -

'did you have any declined payments?'
Yes, two last evening on Shopto
*Person at the bank calls a number, asks me to speak to the person on the phone*
There were charges made to your account from Shopto that looked fraudulent so we stopped them, can you confirm it was you?
Yes, I was trying to buy a computer game game from shopto last night, and my payment was declined twice.

All clear, account unlocked. I think it was the sagepay £1 charge that shopto use to verify your account that made the bank place a block.

WTH WTH WTH?????
 
So even if you receive it tomorrow, it cant be played until 00:01 on the 11th due to needing steam activation is that correct?

If I do so much as fart on an ecommerce website that is not a 'leading retailer' my bank goes nuts, so this doesn't surprise me, annoyingly!
 
Yep, learned that when they did it with Overclockers themselves :D

Anyway on topic, I am glad I have been able to dodge most spoilers except one or two that have annoyed me, didn't really want to know whether certain things had been included or not but that's the risk you take discussing it with others so can't be helped.
 
I ordered my skyrim on 4th of november.

I have been having that issue bhavv, they told me it was a security check they randomly do due to the website I was purchasing on recieving a large amount of fraudulent transactions.

It's ShopTo. You can't blame the bank for thinking that it's suspicious when testing the card with a small transaction is what card fraudsters were doing. I don't see why they have to do it anyway since the card details will be checked when you put through a transaction.
 
Yea, the only thing I do blame with my bank / visa is that they dont ask for a password anymore when shopping online. They automate and allow any payment without asking for my password now, and I had a huge rant about that with the old man after the whole thing.

Paypal actually seems more secure to buy things with now.
 
Not having played the previous games, would you guys suggest that I play those before looking at this one, or is it unlikely to matter?

It wont matter, but you should buy Morrowind NAOW!!!!

Also the first two Elder Scrolls games are free to download now, but Morrowind is the best one so far (I'm hoping Skyrim will be better).
