I'm so close to ordering this from OcUK now, I was going to wait for reviews before getting it.... but I think I've gotten too much hype now, and I wants....

Not buying MW3 or BF3, so I guess it wont dent my wallet that much really...

Say if I wanted to install sykrim to my SSD, my steam is installed to my HDD, is there anyway I can skyrim onto the SSD without uninstalling steam and reinstalling it onto my SSD? Cheers

I found Oblivion almost by 'accident', someone at work bought it but it wouldnt run on his garbage HP 'business spec' PC, with 256Mb RAM - so I took it home, installed it, tried it, loved it and then bought myself a copy!

Many hours of playing Oblivion later, I bought Morrowind... and just didnt/coudnt get into it. I did try for a couple of hours, but it just didnt grab me like Oblivion did.

Thats because you played OBlivion first and got too used to TES in dumbified mode.

Being someone who first experienced TES in 'dumbified' mode, I have to admit I struggled with Morrowind above all else because of the Graphics. Had no other major issues with it.

The graphics of morrowind at the time were amazing, it was a slideshow for me in balmora. The game hasn't aged too well unfortunately.

You can get graphics mods for Morrowind that beautify it beyond vanilla oblivion

(and it slows it down to 15-20 FPS on SLI GTX 580s lolz).

I had to make the sacrifice of ordering from Steam to ensure I get it by Friday evening, unfortunately RM around me are a nightmare, I've had first class letters from London take over a week recently so not trusting them with a package! Shame though, I would've liked the map.

I got an order informing me my tesco order has been dispatched. Will be interesting to see when it arrives.

Is this a game that needs steam activation to work? If so I presume that means that you cant play it until the official release date?
