i found some sweet archer gloves :D alt tabbed and the damn game wouldnt let me tab back in lol they better be in the chest again if the game didnt auto save!

steanworks games always are they pretty much get cracked as soon as valve release the full files...

must be the worst anti piracy protection going

Runs almost 100% eyefinity. Menus and inventory zoomed out. Crossfire also runs like a pig on stilts. Disable extra gpus until crossfire profiles are released!
 
God dammit, I've played for 6 hours and I can't decide where to spend my perks.

I wish Lockpicking and Pickpocket didn't require so many perks (yes, I know you don't really have to take all the perks) and Dual Wielding is awkward; it doesn't seem very good with having to press both buttons. You can spam the main hand just as fast as Main hand and Alternate hand attacks, and both together feels weird. So many perks just to go Dual Wield, too. I wanna be a stealthy assassin, but archery is just boring compared to how awesome magic is now.

So hard to pick the 5 skills to focus on, with only having ~50 perks to spend. I could just drop perking into Pickpocket/Lockpicking, because you can just F5/F9 for success, but it feels wrong not having them on an assassin. Really not liking this perk system, I preferred to just be able to skill what I wanted and switch my styles whenever I wanted.

Is dual wielding worth the damage it does though?

Magic does look great from the reviews!
 
Not usually into this type of game but based on the hype, reviews and vids I've seen it does look amazing. Just purchased through Steam and pre-loading now.

Well I downloaded it, I have Oblivion because it looked nice but got bored very quickly. Hopefully I will like this, but I spotted all you lot getting hot under the collar about it so downloaded it and it's sitting here completed and ready to go at midnight.

So do I get to flt the TieFighter or will I be dissapoint?

Also give it a couple weeks once the modding community starts kicking into gear we will see some nice texture packs pop up. It is possible to make oblivion look better than skyrim now thanks to mods.

lol. I know what you mean. Actually the game guide smells even nicer. Like a Freemans or Grattans catalogue (showing my age there maybe)

no but when your roaming around in a pretty believable world and you come across a bear or a wolf that looks like it was created in ms paint it breaks the whatsit called (my mind has gone blank and ive been sat here for 5minutes trying to think of the word...)

the ui is pretty terrible and was obviously designed for a xbox controller which is even one of the options... use xbox controller tick/untick box

It's fine. Although I am using the Xbox controller 'cos there's mouse lag. Can't seem to disable vsync.

turn the view speed or look speed whatever retarded name they have choosen for mouse sensitivity.... for some reasons its set uber low and feels horrible but if u notice the bar up a good whack it gets rid of the wierd mouse lag feeling

Add iPresentInterval=0 to the bottom of the [Display] section of the Skyrim.ini file in the \Users\[Username]\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim directory
