The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

The thing that ****** me off the most about this game is the draugr overlord's disarm shout. So many weapons never to be seen again :(

Hehe The amount of times I see them lurch back about to shout, when I shoot them with an arrow.

I think I just joined the imperials by mistake. I planned on doing this eventually anyway, but not yet. Will this make Ulfric and other Stormcloak towns hostile?

Ive never had that happen to me they just blast me with a shout that knocks me over but i kill them in a few secs anyway i'm on level 55 now.
Playing this game on normal though which is way too easy for my liking wish I started on hard.

Actually on further inspection,
it looks like she's representing snakes and the arrow is pointing to the centre of a circle of stones. I suspect it's where I went a while back when I got the serpent stone. I just can't remember where that was.

the lake just north of Falkreath

Cheers. Different place from what I thought. ;)
Found it. Lol, wasn't really worth the effort, but fun looking for it.

Actually, unless they went flying over a cliff, they should be mostly beneath your feet. I jusst defeated a draugr deathlord and he kept disarming me with the shout. I picked them all up after, the staff of sparks, staff of magnus, bow, and something else. :p

So I met a 'person' who told me to go kill xyz, so I did. Little did I know that it was a setup for my first Brotherhood encounter. I wasn't watching the dialogue properly so missed the hints. I later went to sleep and woke up elsewhere... - interesting, yet freaky!

Right after that, I fast travelled to Winterhold to get some enchantment training and came face to face with my first Elder Dwagon - is this a chance encounter or college related? At Lv38 with a sword/shield the creature was quite easy tbh.

The Apprentice Stone makes me lol. The way magicka regen works in this game makes it so worthless. Weakness to Magicka 100% for 100% mana regen? Yeah maybe not. Don't know about you but I don't fancy taking 200 damage from Lightning spells just to bump up my regen from 200% to 300%

Treasure maps are random drops that have nothing to do with your current location (as far as I know). It looks like a small island (probably inside a lake) just south of a town with the treasure chest under the water. Off the top of my head it could be anywhere... but I think there was a set of standing stones in a similar location near in the swamps near Morloth (wherever the place is you get take near for the Dark Brotherhood initiation).

I've done some side tasks and found myself a member of the thieves guild now, and I feel dirty. :(
So I'm arch mage of the college of winterhold, a bard at solitude, a member of the companions and now a thief. Since I'm now a highly respected protector and dragonborn in lots of skyrim, Is being a thief a bad route for me to take in the game or doesn't it matter?

Doesn't matter. I felt bad being a thief at first as it felt immoral, but it's a good story line with a good few twists.

Yup, I'm about to officially join the Imperials. But, before I do, I need to know if doing so will cut all ties to the stormcloaks? There are citys I haven't been to, and lots of quests I haven't done. Would hate to be denied them and have the stormcloaks become hostile for the next 200 hours!

There is no Stormcloak presence in cities. I would assume that Stormcloak Camps out in the wilderness would be hostile, same goes for random patrols you find, but they could just be passive and refuse to talk to you. Windhelm, you might not be able to see Ulfric but otherwise you'd still get free reign in the city.

I'll be joining the Imperials once my Sword+Shield Warrior gets into gear anyway. Was gonna join the Stormcloaks with a 2-handed nord (or Orc).

Same, whenever he disarmed my warrior I could find my sword which had gone flying somewhere but my shield was nowhere to be seen.

I just unequipped them as he started shouting and it seemed to work :p
