The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I was always a loner.. my companions kept 'disappearing'. Saying that, I didnt know I could suit them up.. Wish I did now! Might have to give the game another bash through.

Lydia is constantly getting stuck or lost... I've since discovered the command to move her to me which has helped a lot seeing as I never know if she's died or if she's just got lost. The companion AI pathfinding really is stupid - they can't even jump.

Another point, why can't I jump whilst sprinting to go further? :/ Mod idea, perhaps?

These followers would also be much improved if you could get them onto a horse.. they are always way too far behind otherwise.

Have you ever tried to sprint at full pelt whilst wearing dragon scale armor then attempting to jump several feet into the air?

It's not easy with shorts and tshirt never mind the armor!

That's a bit of a cop out tbh, you can do it it Morrowind so I don't understand why you can't in this. You're some sort of superpowered Dragonborn that can stun dragons with his voice but you can't jump whilst sprinting because it suspends the sense of belief?

Also I never get why Bethesda have never made ladders work properly either. It can't be that hard - look at Deus Ex HR.

there is a shout for moving forward really fast (forgot its name wind rush or something lol), but have used that to cross gaps etc when cant be asked to find switches to bridges in dungeons or big leaps)

I used to spam that everytime it cooled down, does make travelling so much easier (without using fast travel of course).

Ahhh I've got that... I'll try it, cheers. I bet you can't use it mid-air though :p

haha yeah I'm using whirlwind sprint everywhere now. Wear the Amulet of Talos (20% quicker cooldown) and I shout my way across much quicker :D Great to use at Blackreach and the Dwemer ruins where there are lots of corridors. I use it to get from Dragonsreach to Jorrvaskr quickly too.
