The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Dawnguard from the looks of it is Xbox 360 exclusive. None the less, if it is the community will just most likely rip the files from Xbox and use them on PC or something. If it does come out for PC though, don't bother buying it, they quite frankly don't deserve your money if they are actually thinking about not bringing it out any time soon. Bethesda DLC is extremely easy to pirate as they are built and installed in the exact same way mods are, just get a hold of the files, install them in the relevant data folders and get the DLC masterfile and activate it. Done. If it aint out by the end of August, when it does come out, IF it does come out, I'll be saving myself a few quid. :)

Skyrim is an amazing game and I will be happy to give more money to Bethesda for more DLC. Especially if it is on a scale like Shivering Isles was for Oblivion. It will be coming to PC and PS3, it was just exclusive to XBox for a month.

The 30 day period is over mate, and they haven't and refuse to give any information on PS3 + PC. They also completely deny ever stating it would come to anything but Xbox 360, hahaha. That is such a blatant lie.

Also, judging from the reviews of Dawnguard (not those cash-in-hand fake reviews you'll see at IGN etc) if you go into it expecting an expansion of the quality and scale of Bloodmoon/Shivering Isles, you'll be extremely disappointed. It isn't even as big as The Knights of the Nine.

To think this time last year I was the biggest Bethesda fanboy alive?

Just had the new patch downloaded for me and of course I now need the new version of the Skyrim script extender. How long does it usually take the dev team to get up to date with the latest Skyrim? I'm trying to start a new game with some more mods I downloaded today but now I can't load Skyrim through SKSE as it's out of date. The SKSE site has the last stable release (which I have) as 05/06/12.

edit/ has anyone tried the beta version on the site with the newest patch?

Excellent news chaps - I tend to stay clear of beta releases. I'll give it a go tonight when I've finished my work for the day!

I started playing Skyrim when it came out...
After a few hours, I got out of the city, night time, no guards, made sure no one was around, stole the horse (stationed right outside the gates) and rode into the night...
5 minutes later, in the middle of nowhere, I get surrounded by guards accusing me of theft. Oh, **** off ! Alt+F4 and uninstalled the game. I'm supposed to cheat the game, not vice versa.
