Yeah I nearly went for Battlefield 3 too, but the code stopped working, and also you don't get the DLC weapons that you do when you order from Game/Gamestation. It is nice Skyrim doesn't have retailer specific bonuses.

This is what I thought. Are there any examples of steamworks games which can be played before the release date on steam?

Want to pre-order this game so much, but wouldn't be able to play it for 6 months as it comes out right when I go to Afghan, so gutted! Ah well, should be cheeper on my return lol.

Not sure what the benefit to preordering now when it comes out in 11/11. Its not like they will suddenly stop offering preordering.

I'm pretty sure its dx9 but that doesn't mean it wont look good, witcher 2 is dx9 also and that looks fantastic. Hold off until nearer the time and the new amd cards may be out or you might get a bargain anyway.
