The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Agh, fat horses with tiny legs.

Also, I always find it funny when 'Use of alcohol' is listed in the things that make a game be rated 'M'. MAkes it sound like hacking people to death with swords is fine, but add in a beer, and holy crap, least kid-friendly game ever.

I couldn't care less about the graphics to be honest, sooner or later you get used to them and start dreaming about the 'next gen' all over again.

I personally want an environment where your actions really effect how the game/story plays out, so you can replay the game over and over with different experiences. Little things like walking into people's houses at ungodly hours with them not battling an eyelid spoil the immersement for me, still gassing for the game though :p

Dont get me wrong Im looking forward to it, but it just looks like a slightly tweaked oblivion, and considering the amount of time that has passed, was expecting a little bit more from the graphics.

I certainly don't miss having to upgrade all the time - during the time of Oblivion i felt like I was needing to upgrade all the time.

Unfortunately, gameplay is in part restricted by consoles since certain apects of it require a decent amount of processing capability.

Not going to lie, this game seems quite disappointing. Dosen't seem to have any real depth to it. Also I hate the scripted things (like jumping on the dragons head).

Hopefully my fears will be unfounded and it'll actually be an EPIC game like the ones of old.

I really hope they add a lot more for poisons etc.

in the last one it as basically a shallow damage addon for weapons (some of the positive potions were good though)

would be nice to be able to poison peoples food etc

It is very visible that the game still is based on Gamebryo - loadings of towns/interiors, rain going through solid obstacle (see the tower in third video)..

They rewrote a lot (dialogue system, animation system..) but the old cranky base of Gamebryo is still there.

Cannot wait for all the crashes people are going to be reporting :D

This game looks great can't wait to play it the spell casting an the hand reminds me of the bioshock game.
Seem to kill everything pretty quick in the vids hope he was playing on easy level.

Looking forward to it,sunk 100's of hours into Morrowind/Oblivion.I'm wishfully thinking i don't need to spend hours getting it to run how i want it too.

I'm quite glad of the low hardware requirements - means it should at least run decently on older stuff, and I can actually spend time enjoying the gameplay.

Seriously can't wait. Oblivion was one of the greatest games I ever played. If only Skyrim had Sean Bean though! Still 70+ Voice actors now instead of the previous 17!
