The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Must admit I'm liking Fire and Storm ENB - CoT compatible

( Better frame rates than Realvision, nicer colours and with DOF )

Quite like that though the bloom/blur is a little more than my tastes - shame there is no easy way to get the uniformity of that look but with a bit more tonal separation between low contrast elements - the mid tones are gorgeous but a bit brown :S

I'm also using +15 on Digital Vibrance, so it looks more colourful on my pc

So what went wrong with the Vivid Weathers you had posted there originally? I've got to admit ... I'm really liking it and the ENB that goes with it.

It messed with a lot of the mods I had already installed, and at the time wasn't compatible with many to uninstall and test. One by one I tried, and ended up first with purple fog, then purple lanterns :p

Am i right in thinking, that this mod will replace the need to install like 100 separate mods that people have to at the moment, to get the game looking great ?

No, it will only replace many of the textures listed in the files, such as skeletons and armour :D

You'll still need all those other mods to make the game look incrediballs!

Going to install this tonight, looks lush!

aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Overhauls many of the armour/creature textures

I've been using his armours for a long time they're easily the best retextures for those as far as I'm concerned, the other stuff is new might give them a try

n.b. I really must get those retextures of the Bone Mold armour vanilla is awful...

Is anyone having issues running Skyrim with Win10? Even with a Vanilla install, the game runs really bad with the rig in my signature. Looking up Whiterun, it jumps between 40 and 60 frames and judders like mad.

Here's a video of this issue. Vanilla install, and it can be seen best at the end as I'm panning around. Frames dip into the 40s with the GPU at less than 50%.

I get drops in whiterun ESPECIALLY at the top of those steps where you panned around at the end, with all my mods etc it drops to around 27fps for me there :( where other places it is easy 50+fps,ive always had this drop in whiterun though,i wonder if others get it also?

Not with vanilla no, and I have less impressive hardware, but then I am using Windows 7.

You do all have DX 9.0c runtime installed, yes? I've noticed fps drops with mods that add a lot of objects to Whiterun and I've always put it down to the lack of draw calls in DX9

ive not tried it vanilla as went straight for the mods when I downloaded it lol

Vanilla and modded I don't get any FPS slowdown panning around at the top of the steps - I do get a couple of very brief pauses walking through Whiterun. (I'm on Windows 7).
