The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered - MODS & TWEAKS

I had to re add my ELFX because the torches/firepits in Whiterun gave this huge "aoura" or however it's called of white light, which has gone now.

Have fun with it ! ^

I'm really liking that ENB @Omaeka

Looks pretty spot on but noticed you aren't using DoF? I know that ENBs of the past especially in Oldrim loved to drown your eyeballs in blur but the DoF in this mod at least is very tasteful, there seems to be a limit on how close it can add deph to the character and I've only really noticed DoF on the distant land which looks awesome

Definitely recommend getting the 'extreme' preset, trust me DoF is infinitely better than it used to be, not sure if that's due to SSE or due to the enbdev or modders, but it's certainly a lot more gameplay friendly now. Seems to only ever blur the parts of the game that are an eyesore to begin with, improving overall image.

Incase you not already know, the SkyUI Team has released the 5.1SE for SSE.

SkyUI by SkyUI Team
This is an unsupported alpha version for testing. Use at your own risk.

Requires SKSE64 2.0.2 alpha or newer.

From schlangster:

What does "unsupported alpha version" actually mean?

* SkyUI requires SKSE64, which is currently still in alpha, so SkyUI simply inherits that state.

* It is a feature-complete release. All features of the non-SE version should be working.

* There are no installation instructions yet. If you need help settings things up, you should wait for a stable release.

* Only short-term testing was done, so there might still be undiscovered bugs. Please report any issues you find.

* Updates might not be backward compatible. If everything goes well, they will. But if not, be prepared to go back to an earlier save.

Problem with this is that you need the SKSE64 which isn't available anywhere atm.

EDIT: Well there is the alpha version that is tagged 'modders only' so that sounds like a huge risk to me
Yes I know but there is plenty of people taking that risk and wouldn't suprise me if we have several users here using it already in it's Alpha state. Hence why I quoted Schlangester's post from the SkyUI Thread itself so you all could see it straight away and go from there. :)

And it is avilable directly from the silverlock site as well, but as you said tagged "Modders Only".

Oh yeah I'm using it now and it seems fine, got tired of QP UI Overhaul and it's enchanting table bug on pad and aint using vanilla, F that.

But yeah it's working good so far, skse and SkyUI are very easy and safe to remove from your game/save file so even if it ends up causing a fuss it won't be a big deal. Cheers for bringing it to light, though. I'd say do NOT use it at the minute unless you feel like your game is stable.

Ohh I'm not playing Skyrim now. I just posted it for others that playing and might been interested in it but not checking the forum over at Nexus. Once I go back to Skyrim things hopefully have calmed down and SKSE64 and mods be working nicely in tandem (and hopefully Bethseda wont be making to many update changes to the game as well).

Decided to eventually download the special edition as I wanted to see what it looks like after their improvements compared to my heavily modded Skyrim.
Bit disappointed, although it does feel a tad smoother although I've not got G-SYNC working properly yet.

Is MO a thing or do I have to succumb to NMM?

For Gsync, I need to alt-tab out and back in once per session. The difference is night and day.

Can anyone spec me a mod that allows the player character to get up anything more than a moderately steep slope? I'm no climber in RL but much of the blocked terrain could easily be ascended with a bit of moderate scrambling. It becomes tiresome in the extreme spending 20 minutes or more circling a mountain trying to find the one elusive sliver of a path that actually allows you to walk to the objective.

No need for a mod, horses are your friend when scaling mountains.

Tried that but the tired old nag I, ahem, appropriated managed to fall off a steeper section of mountainside and kill itself and me. Ergo, looking for a scrambling/climbing mod! Been two or three years since I played Skyrim and I'd forgotten just how frustrating getting to high places could be.

Not exactly what you're after, but looks cool anyway.
Add's extra pathways and crafted staircases to certain mountains/areas.
