The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered - MODS & TWEAKS

I noticed this with Wico.. still cant actually tell if its activated or not.. its only because the witcher gear shows up in the crafting menu that i guess it is.

For me this is one of the mods that has has the bigest impact.
It makes a big difference to Argonians and Khajits. It also changes several specific characters.
One that I see all the time is Jennesa. The mercenary from the hunters lodge in Whiterun. She has a different and much better face, different hair and war paint.

I wonder if mine isn't installed or working correctly then. Khajits looked aweful in the character creation with really awful, blurry fur textures...

I feel like a right numpty.

Both Wico and the mod above just change the NPC bodies as such and not the clothing?

No wonder i couldn't work out why i couldn't see any changes I was looking at the clothing not the body textures

has there been any large replacement default armour / clothing texture packs released to change them yet. think in standard edition it was aMidianBorn series that did it.

I looked at this as well. It just makes everyone look to clean and shiny and doesn't suit the setting of Skyrim. If your a seasoned warrior or an old blacksmith and you live in a cold, wet and harsh climate your not going to look like you just stepped out of a Salon. You could probaly use them both though, just make sure WICO comes after the other one in the load order.

The immersive armours pack does this to some extent. It adds LOADS of stuff for you to craft, but also spreads appropriate armours across all the npcs. I don't think it does non combat clothes though, like tavern dresses and rich merchants.

Wow I forgot how bad this game looked without mods. But I cant be bothered going through the whole modding process again

I think I used to spend more time sorting out mods than playing... especially when it all went horribly wrong and I had to restore a backup... :S

I would very much like to play Skyrim again, but unfortunately a few mods I consider a must aren't available for SSE so far as I can tell.

Timing Is Everything
Guild Overhaul- Companions
Convenient Horses
Most settlement mods
Interesting NPCs

Do any mods for the normal game just work with this or not?

Cheers

Some Skyrim mods do work with SSE that I've seen. Worth trying but I'd recommend backing up your saves first, just in case.

How's this performing now? I've been away for the past three weeks so haven't been keeping up.

Has there been patches?
Do we have native ultra wide support yet?
Has support for SLI and Gsync been improved?

I'm looking to get going with a Vanilla game and then add some essential mods without going too heavy. Would like to get some proper textures too, but I won't be doing the full character mods or new quest lines.

Problem was that I was getting awful performance on release so if Bethesda haven't fixed the basics then it's probably not going to be worth the hassle?

I'm running 45+ mods with ENB and reshade and getting constant 60FPS (Capped) almost all of the time. I'd be around 40FPS and stuttery on the previous version

Quick question about NMM. I like how it works with virtual folders like MO now. However, I still have a question: If I install mod B after Mod A, and Mod B has texture 1 that 'overwrites' that of Mod A, will Mod A's texture 1 become active again if Mod B is uninstalled?

Sorry I realise that's a sentence and a half; not sure how else to explain it ha.
