The EMTB (Electric Mountain Bike) Discussion Thread...

Just did 2 days pedal pass at BPW and have to say I think it was my favourite time I've had there.
Pretty much used full battery both days, stayed in turbo most of the time to save the legs. Explored more, sessioned more trails, found a quicker route to the top, stumbled down a470 for the first time, best of all the weather was kind to us.

Have to say I didn't miss the uplift at all, yeah, didn't get as many runs in but still did plenty and the ride up was a laugh stopping at points to session or chat to locals.

Emtb FTW!

You'll love it, it's an amazing place, just wish it was a bit closer.

Sixtapod is still a favourite to warm up on, watch out on the new funnel line, things can get fast quickly.
Popity ping is great for warming up on jumps and you can session the top jumps so easily on an emtb, same goes for the mid section of terry's belly, which is good for berm practice.

Roots manoeuvres, AC/DC, watts occuring and a470 are all great trails.

Roots manoeuvers is a long trail which gets progressively harder towards the bottom, it's one of my favourites.

Enjoy mate.

Is Bosch Hill start assist old or new?

I updated my bike the other day when I was drunk for some reason, and I remember reading in the update notes they added hill start assist.

seems to be something the new version of the CX was touted as having.

did they add it to older bikes or was it always there? or was I just too drunk because I can;t find the same patch notes I saw in the flow app on the internet.

(I didn't ride drunk, was just walking past the bike and decided to check if there were any updates.)

Over 6 months into our Trek Rails and absolutely loving the eMTB experience. We've covered all the Welsh Trail centres a few times each, and Cannock Chase over 10x.

Today at Cannock was perfect riding and trail conditions

My rail 9.7 at Cannock today
