Now then, how does this work considering the amount of times the wickets have been hit and bails not removed.

Now the umpires have removed the bails. We're not playing with bails.
 
I remember years ago seeing them use heavier bails when it was windy - they were dark coloured, so probably mahogany or some such hard wood.
 
Yeah, nice to see Overton strike. I could hear Boycott's mantra ringing in my ears (Just bowl at the top of off) there is a lot of pressure on Overton, that will have helped no end.

On hols in Sardinia, so not been keeping up, but let's face it- Smith is still at the crease, and the weather report implies this is going to be a draw.

(As long as there are no fireworks.... With this series who knows)
 
Storm coming in from the Atlantic seems to have abated this morning. Blue skies with enough of a bracing wind to unsettle the Aussies.

Should get a full days cricket (7pm finish).
