This is embarassing and whoever prepared the pitch should be shot. Is there any punishment in the international arena like there is in County?

It does feel as though India are confident of playing better on desperate pitches. Simply gave the instructions to the groundsman "make it fall to bits ASAP"

The series is failing as a sporting contest, but will appeal to people with a T20 attention span.

There should be some sort of sanction against a country who produce pitches like this regularly.

It's not like India are showing us how to play on a turning wicket, as (IIRC) Ramps said in the changeover, they could have prepared a turning wicket and won in 4/5 days in all probability, in some ways this is more of a lottery.

The pitch might be **** but they can't blame the bad performance completely on the pitch.

Lovely some cricket to look forward to in this lockdown. Lol jk lets make the worst test pitch and the game will be over in less than 2 days.

Also:

  1. Create brand new 110k capacity stadium
  2. Make the pitch so shocking that you only can fill it for 2/5 days.
Good job.

A real shame it did not last the full five days. The home team have every right to prepare the wicket to their advantage but it killed it as a contest. Hopefully they learn from it and the final test is a cracker as missed it not being on today as background noise!

Awful awful start, no confidence against even the mildest of spin. Can see this being over before the end of the day.
