Fielding is costing/has cost England this series. Stat on the radio IIRC was Bairstow has taken 8/16 catches, Carey has taken 15/17. Root and Anderson have both made howlers in the last two games as well. Outside of the Smith drop of Stokes I’m struggling to think of anything easy they’ve put down.

Yeah it's shocking. The two (horrible) sayings you learn when you play cricket when you're about 6 is "catches win matches" and "if in doubt, front foot out". They're annoying, but both true. The best fielding team wins so often.

They also had a lot of the best batsmen in the world...
