Been 3 great tests, could have gone either way.

Selection headaches for the next game. Anderson yay or nay, Bairstow yay or nay? I'd say nay to both.
Think Anderson will be back in for Robinson. Also at old Trafford for his last ashes test he'll be fired up. Bairstow has to to be dropped, dropped so many and delivered so little with the bat. .

Just saying what i think will happen. With Robinsons back spasm,he's also been very economical especially in first innings.

Murphy given 9.3 overs total.... Gonna do him a world of good that.

Phew. Well done to Brook, Woakes and Wood. The latter two especially for how well they bowled.

On TMS they compared Bairstow’s batting record when he was keeping and not keeping over the last few years and the difference is huge. Picking Foakes is surely a no brainer other than how we fit him in the side, especially if Stokes can’t bowl. I suppose one option is an all pace attack, drop Moeen and bat Bairstow at 3. However Old Trafford usually turns a bit so I suspect they want him in there.

If Stokes is fit to bowl then perhaps Robinson makes way.

Either way it requires a bold decision so I suspect no change.

Given how little Bairstow has contributed with the bat a straight swap isn’t that outrageous, but there’s always the hope taking the gloves off him helps him rediscover his form. Batting Brook at 3 was a mistake and one option is bumping Bairstow back up the order again, he’s done it before. Batting 3 and keeping is too much though.

Bairstow is utterly useless. Get rid
He looks overweight which as a keeper can't be good. His keeping has been a poor standard, his batting awful and he cost England the match at Lords with his run out. Seems like a no brainer to swap him out but I suspect him and Stokes are besties.

Having your mates in the team has lost England so many matches over the years, will people ever learn

Really? Bring Anderson back. He’s been awful.
Next test is at his home ground so if Robinson isn't fit I think he'll play.
Bairstow has to give up the gloves though, it's hard to win the ashes with a crap keeper although somehow we managed it in 2005. The only question really is whether you retain him as a better if Pope is injured, it's not long ago that he played some very good innings for England.

I don’t know how Jones was ever eligible to play for England
