I said it at the start of the series that I feared the worst. Especially with a team where the players are trying to prove themselves. That's not a team you want playing the Ashes.

I can't digest the fact that someone like Kevin Pietersen is doing the commentary when he should be on the field, playing. I could careless about the politics. If he's good enough, he has to play. But the ECB seems to think he damages the dynamic of the team. Let's see how dynamic this team is when the series is done.

To be fair, Australia's team isn't very strong either. But right now they look a lot more disciplined and prepared.
