The England Cricket Thread

A lead of 250 is a bloody hard chase on the last day. Not enough time to play too cagey so they’re gonna have to go for their shots. Ali could be the key here. If he gets going on a dry cracking wicket, we could rip through them.

Apart from they'll have almost 2 days to bat!

This could be extremely close. 50 over style finish coming up. So much hangs on how many runs we can put on in the first session (obviously).

By the way Michael Vaughan is a brutal cricket critic...I know it's his job, but he's now claiming Bairstow is having a sulk because he's not keeping!

I've no idea how this is going to go today. Bookies have England as favourites, but there's no way I'm putting money on them.

Why do the commentators keep referring to double bluffs in relation to placing fielders at deep leg etc. then bowling a good length ball? Isn't that just a bluff? A double bluff would have been to bowl a bouncer.

Dumb run-out. No need to wreck his chance at another 50.

Soooooooo... India have been set over 200 to win away from home over 60 times, and have managed it only 3 times. It's England's day IMO.

I think India have got a real chance here. England messed up the last session and could have easily set a lead of 270. Disappointed, but should make for a fascinating day.

Had to raise my eyebrows at the Indian commentator on TMS that said he thought the test would be concluded tomorrow! :/
