Deja-vu this morning.

At least there's an afternoon game later.

Afternoon game doesn't look like it's going to last too long either as Afghanistan look poor and Australia look good.

Before the tournament all the talk was about teams making big totals, and at the half way point of the England vs South Africa game there was lots of talk about 310 being a low score. And yet no other team has even got close to 300 yet which makes me wonder why?

The pitches seem to be offering a bit more to the bowlers than in England's previous ODI's, whether that's due to ICC instructions to groundsmen or because it hasn't been as hot & dry recently I don't know. I also don't know if perhaps many teams came to England with the expectation of making 350+ scores and simply haven't prepared for anything other than roads?
