1950's had rationing, dont think its really best of times not finance wise anyway. End of the british empire, some relief from not having to speak german maybe but mostly lots of debt to repay from the war.

It was also the emergence of a more assertive US,who threatened to bankrupt us over the Suez Crisis and forced as to withdraw from Egypt. Many historians regard that as the point we declined as a major world power.

Voting out on the 23rd and hopefully on the 24th we shall see emergency legislation passed that will result in massive deportations in due course!

This country is full of low quality stock. It's time to take back control of our borders. Life isn't only about GDP figures. Quality matters too.

Also in USA am supporting TRUMP and his slogan to "make America white again"

:)

IP check in aisle 9, IP check in aisle 9.

Thanks mods :)

GDP does matter but look at high GDP countries and you see criminality, fatalities, high levels of depression, general unhappiness etc.

GDP cannot replace quality cultural elements that are necessary for civilizations to flourish in more than just financial ways. High GDP doesn't equate a general feeling of well being. GDP matters to SOME extent.

I vote "OUT". UK will survive fine.

Whereas in low GDP countries crime, death, depression and unhappiness are low?

No they aren't low. My point is high GDP isn't the only thing that matters for a prosperous society.

I do believe in many ways that Nick Griffin is right about his assessment of the current referendum and its importance hence I support his cause.

Agreed. GDP and growth are/should not be the be all and end all of how a nation is judged.

Unfortunately I still can't work out the best way of deciding on and deporting the low quality stock. Chavs? People without GCSEs? People on benefits? You'll have to be clearer on how you define "low quality"... And then where do we deport them? The Falklands maybe?

Perhaps if you don't get a C in English, Maths and Science at GCSE you have a week to say your goodbyes before being deported to the Falklands? It may be a good idea, it would definitely cause grades to increase!

Anyone with a below average IQ would be a start. Hopefully somewhere sunny so I can get a tan :D.

GCHQ flase flag pls go.

Aye, if we lose this due to some neo-nazi scumbag murdering a mother of two, I'll be livid.

At least it's lined up a nice ready made excuse for those who just can't fathom the idea that maybe overall public opinion might be in favour of remain regardless.

Really?

Farage and his UKIP cronies have already done a pretty good job of that for Brexit. Their latest poster teeters on outright racism and I fail to understand why any right-minded person would wish to ally themselves with that sort of hatred and bile.

This death has tied brexit up with the same lexicon as "right wing", " racist" and other socially rehabilitating words.

What? To be made a martyr for the cause?

Sorry, I find using the lifeless body of a wife and mother - who just happens to be an MP - for political ends utterly nauseating, ghoulish even ...

That wasn't what I meant sorry. If someone murdered me for my beliefs I'd hope that they cause swing away from theirs. Obviously I'd much prefer not to be.

I don't disagree with you on the second point at all. One can only hope they felt something for her loss rather than just seeing an opportunity.

So those of us who want to vote for Leave are not right-minded or at worst are racists?

Some should look the definition of Fascism.
