Just watched question time with Cameron!

If you are voting in you have to be nuts?

His body language and replies stink of lies and deceit to the British people.

I see through the lies and discrepancy of his replies.

He has nothing more than contempt to the British people.

Just vote out and we will pick up the pieces afterwards, the world wont end it will take us 2 years to get out and at least we can as a people make an informed and democratic choice on our own. Without having to resort to asking the EU.

Talk about gerrymandering politics its bloody ridiculous!

Might be worth taking 25 minutes of your life and watch this

Although it is a Facebook link it does link to a verified page of Liverpool Uni which shows a leading expert in EU law. For me he provided clear factual points for both sides.

I did post this earlier but I think it got lost in the discussion .... Hope you find it as interesting as I did.

So what position and rights does that give them in Germany?

And what about their future progeny, what will they be? More "refugees" but from a German based, never ending, numerically exploding, constantly expanding refugee factory? Or will *THEY* be given some more conventional status?
I do not, for one second, believe these hundreds of thousands of so called refugees will not gain German and hence EU citizenship. The thing's unprecedented and some bleedin' heart will want to give the "poor little children" a proper status, and thus the freedom to go anywhere in the EU their little noses smell the best pickings. Like this once green and pleasant land...

So will there be a European army, will Turkey join the EU and do we give the EU 350m a week/month or whatever it is?

Cameroon said these are all completely untrue.

I'm leaning toward leave by the way, but if I'm honest I don't know what's best as I don't know what's true and what's bs from both sides of the campaign.

#shotsfired #policelinedonotcross

Lol when he says how listening to the leave campaign is what he imagines it's like for evolutionary biologists listening to creationists chat excrement.

Just on his credibility - he says in the early stages how he's a consultant for the BBC, has been consulted by the Cabinet Office, and has given evidence to a number of Select Committees. On top of a lot of professional experience in general, of course. Six minutes in and it's worth listening to/watching, imo - he says he supports remain, but he's being entirely reasonable.

Glad you are finding it good viewing. First video I have seen which is straightforward to understand and tell you facts.:)

**** I don't know what way to vote, there's to many lies and scare mongering from both sides it seems.

If you want to progressively move towards being the United States of Europe then vote remain (nothing wrong with that if it's how you feel). If you want Britain to be an independent country then vote Leave.

This is nothing to do with the eu.
This is based wholly on us taking in people who the un have determined to be at risk of signifant harm as refugees.

If we want to stop taking refugees, leaving the eu wont affect that.

I never said it did. It was in response to a post regarding the Ukip poster.

Basically this.Don't vote for the status quo, because there isn't one.

The main reason I'm voting to leave is how fundamentally anti-democratic the political union is. The UK already has a few problems with democracy thanks to the house of lords and the monarchy, but it's nothing compared to the EU. The MP's that we elect in the UK have the ability to propose and repeal legislation. The MEP's we vote for in the European Union don't have these powers. They only have the ability to block legislation, providing they aren't out-voted (And Britain is out-voted a LOT. We only get one MEP per 800 thousand citizens in the country, whereas the average country has one MEP per 400 thousands citizens). The center of power in the union is the European Commission. These people aren't elected by the people, they are appointed by the leaders of the member states, and we can't kick them out. We can kick out our MP's after a few years, and sometimes they can get kicked out even before an election. We aren't able to do this with the European Commission. They're the only ones in the union that are able to create and repeal legislation, and they are totally unaccountable to the people. And if a law made in the UK is contradicted by an EU law, the EU law automatically comes out on top. This issue hasn't been talked about nearly enough in this debate.
Imo, no. We've never had a UN army, or NATO army, given no one wants to give their troops to anyone else.

Turkey might join the EU at some point, but not before significant changes, and it's not looking likely to happen even in the coming decades. Look at how the negotiations have gone so far... there are many, many, many areas which still need to be negotiated.
Here's a quote from the EU website:
EUPressRelease said:
Visa liberalisation for Turkey is a key component of the EU-Turkey Statement of 18 March 2016 which stated that the fulfilment of the visa liberalisation roadmap will be accelerated with a view to lifting the visa requirements for Turkish citizens at the latest by the end of June 2016
I realize that this isn't full blown membership, but migration is the part most people worry about and this would open the doors from Turkey.
